What a great book! This is one of the few books (listens) that kept me on the edge wanting to hear more! I was stationed on an aircraft carrier in the early 80s working the flight deck. I was always intrigued by the pilots that made the take-offs, and especially the landings, so effortlessly. Only after listening to this book did I get the full picture of what it takes to be one of those pilots. The details as narrated were awesome. To hear how the battle over Iraq as managed by these fighter pilots was great! Loved the book and I'm sure I'll listen to it again.
Details of the attacks and avoidance.
Loved it! I want hear more!
I have not read the print version, but I am purchasing it for a family member.
Adam Brown. A true American Hero.
I have not read the book.
I listen to books during my hour long commute to and from work each day. While listening to this book I found myself in tears while driving down the road. I would have to stop listening to the book a few miles before arriving to to work, so I could dry my eyes. Last night when telling parts of Adam's story to my wife, I couldn't do it without crying. I'm not typically like this. The story of Adam's life and how he cared so much for his family and his Navy Seal brothers changed my life forever. To hear throughout the book how Christ touched his life and inspired him to be the man he was truly opened my eyes. I call myself a Christian, but now I know my life must change and include Christ in everything I do, like Adam did. My heart hurts for Adam's family. May God forever watch over his family and his Navy Seal brothers. God bless you Adam Brown. Thank you for you time in service and thank you for wanting someone to tell your story from the beginning. Listening to your story has truly changed my life.
Thank you Eric for telling this story the way you did. I loved it and I am about to download it for my wife to listen to and purchase the book for a family member.
