In the wake of his wife's murder, agent Grady Shields turned his back on the FBI - and everything else-to retreat into the vast solitude of Montana, grieve for his lost love, and forget the world. But after years in seclusion, his sister's wedding draws him to St. Dennis, a peaceful town on the Chesapeake Bay. Though he swears he isn't interested in finding love again, Grady can't ignore the mutual sparks that fly when he meets Vanessa Keaton.

Couldn't take the narration. Had to stop listening. Sounds like every character is a relative of Mae West. Got very irritating!

Lucas Thorn wasn't born a cheater. All it took was a single moment - say, a certain disastrous incident on the night before his wedding - and boom. Reputation destroyed forever and always. So now he owns it. He has a lady friend for every night of the week (except Sundays - God's day and all), and his rules are simple: No commitments. No exceptions. But a certain smart-mouthed, strawberry blonde vixen is about to blow that all to hell.

I'm used to getting what I want. But I've never wanted anyone like her. I'm the CEO. I dominate the boardroom with my presence. What I want, I get. I have the world at my beck and call. But that no longer excites me. Nothing does. Until she comes along. My Rose. Her deep blue eyes. Her tempting curves. They call to me, holding my attention like nothing has in years. I should walk away, but the soft sighs spilling from her plump lips are addictive.

Jackson "The Beast" Boudreaux is rich, gorgeous, and unbelievably rude to the staff at Chef Bianca Hardwick's New Orleans restaurant. Bianca would sooner douse herself in hot sauce than cook for Jackson again, but when he asks her to cater his fundraiser, Bianca can't refuse, knowing the cash will help pay her mother's medical bills. Then Jackson makes another outrageous request: Marry me. The unconventional offer includes an enormous sum - money Bianca desperately needs, even if it does come with a contract - and a stunning ring.

Its been so long that I was actually sad for a book to end. This book actually contained dialogue and lots of it. And it was awesome! And it was funny! The quips and sarcasm had me laughing all through it. Cute story with a few twists. Best work!!!!!

Matthew Hansen is the kind of handsome that has grown women whispering behind their hands and giggling like schoolgirls. Dark, tall and mysterious, he's a newcomer to our little town. He's a gritty, grease-covered mechanic, and a single daddy. Sweet, right? Plus, he's looking for a nanny - and I am desperately looking for a job. Sounds like the perfect deal. Only he's a jerk. An uncivilized, hulking brute. Zero manners. Zero interest in making me feel welcome in his home. Downright rude. But oh, so sexy. And I need the job. I can do this.

Some people live their entire lives without changing their perspective. Adopted at 16, she knows better than to believe in the permanence of anything. When small-town Nebraska sheriff Hixon Drake meets Greta Dare, the connection couldn't be stronger, but the timing couldn't be worse. Dealing with the fallout of a divorce he never wanted and setting up a new home for his kids, Hix becomes that guy, that one he never wanted to be, and puts a stop to things before they can even start. Protecting his kids and himself is his only priority. Greta, on the other hand, has found the place for her and the brother she adores that's perfect for them - a sleepy little town in Nebraska.

While I am a huge Kristen Ashley fan I'm starting to miss the humor in the characters of Rock Chicks and Colorada Mountain. I even liked the bit of mystery twist in this book but the ending was anticlimactic. It's all getting a little tedious and repetitious..... And by giving you this I'm also giving you this so I can give you this..... Heh heh.

It all started when my brother, Paul, convinced me to go on one last family road trip across the Mother Road with him and my dad. Just like old times, right? Wrong. What Paul fails to mention is his best man, Porter, will be joining us, who just so happens to be my childhood crush and the man who broke my heart four years ago. What is supposed to be a fun family bonding experience across Route 66 turns into a war of pranks, awkward moments and bathrooms full of dirty flannel shirts and day-old beard clippings.

After a devastating car crash stole both her family and her memory, Grace Stanton was left with no past and an uncertain future. Now Grace likes to keep things simple. No sleepovers, never date a guy more than a month, and never, ever fall in love. Which is exactly why Grace avoids Bad Habit's lead guitarist, Brody Scott, at all costs. The green-eyed, sexy-as-hell musician has "trouble" tattooed all over him, and Grace isn't taking any chances with her heart.

A lot of fluff and not enough story.

Two characters who have both had so many sex partners they both lost count try to refrain from each other because the relationship is special. FYI - Even if I could wrap my mind around their reasons it's still kind of a turn off- just sayin. So the whole story lost its appeal for me and I bailed. Same thing just different book. Sorry.

    Story

I fell for it in Meghan March's Real Good Man duet by purchasing the first part and not liking it enough to purchase the second part; therefore, wasting a credit on a partial book. Then, I went and did it again. I bought the first part of this duet and don't like it enough to purchase the second part. Maybe that's my loss but I feel like March is more concerned about how to make a buck than the actual art of writing a good book so I'm out. Doesn't give me hope for Part 2. Spending 2 credits on a book that should be 1 is too much!

Part 1 of this duet is a basic set up for Part 2 but it doesn't suck me in enough to take the plunge. Full of fluff and lack of depth. The sex scenes just get monotonous. Yep, I said it! A lot of "not gonna happen but it happens" ridiculousness. If I've heard about one chick who bites her lip hard enough to draw the copper taste of blood, I've heard about a hundred. Ugh! Is that even a thing cuz it doesn't sound enjoyable?

Sebastian York did a pretty good job adding a little country twang to his narration. I'm struggling with Elena Wolfe aka Andi Arndt. She is kind of a melodramatic narrator so when paired with a melodramatic story, in theory, it's a perfect match. Since I'm getting tired of the books with too much fluff and not enough story it turns to overkill. Sorry, Andi- I mean Elena. Did I get sucker punched twice by narration and duet book?

Anyway, maybe it's just me but where is the creativity these days in romance books? Need more of a story.
