I was glad that Cam got his own story and I enjoy the tie in to the Wallflowers characters. It is like a circle of friends that keeps expanding. I can only hope the next books in the series will be as good!
I enjoyed this series alot! Fell in love with the brothers and enjoyed each of their stories. Roberts writing is infused with equal amounts of humor, sexy scenes, and interesting characters. It would be hard to pick a favorite character since as the series go one comes to love them all.
It's a light series, not too deep, but interesting enough to keep me listening way too late at night.I would definitely recommend the three books.
I must say I am a fool for an Irish brogue and this narrator did a great job in that regard. The story kept my attention and I enjoyed it. There was a little too much self sacrifice going on for me to give it any more stars, but it was entertaining with a good supporting cast!
I am someone who needs to read a series to the conclusion. This book was OK, not the best, but far from the worst I have listened to. I am just saying that of the three books in this series, this is the weakest story line. It's redeeming qualities are that it tied up the loose ends of a story line that carried nicely through this series of three stories about three brothers. The characters were engaging, but their story was mediocre. However, I was glad to hear Charlie's story. If I had to do it again, I would read this series. Linden's stories entertain me.
I liked the story and was pleased by the fact that it wasn't the typical earl chasing the virginal miss. The characters were interesting. I enjoyed watching the interplay between the main characters contrasting personalities and the way the heroine caused the hero to loosen up. Linden also writes steamy love scenes! Worth the read.
This is my favorite of the three books in this series. I just liked the way the relationship developed between these two. This one also had the steamiest love scenes!
I liked the characters in this story; however, it dragged in some spots. Also, I got tired of all the unfulfilled longing, seriously? just get it over with. The saving grace for this book was the hero who was obviously on the spectrum. The author played to his strengths, which is as it should be. I appreciated him and the woman who could love him for what he was. There were good supporting characters, but not my favorite.
Narrator was good which is why I gave it 'middle of the road' ratings.
Some of this was interesting just because it tied into the first story, but overall was kind of lame. Most of the characters were OK, but the story got old fast. There was not a lot to hold my interest and I found my mind wandering. I kept with it because I was interested in the fates of the various characters, many from the first book, but I would not recommend this book.
I gave it a 2 overall because I didn't want to knock the narrator. She was fine.
Dare is one of my favorite authors. Her stories are witty with likable, well developed characters. I found myself laughing out loud at times, and groaning at others. She pulls you into the story and you don't want to leave. No great stresses or intrigues to bedevil the reader, but instead an enjoyable read with lots of humor and humanity.
Please Audible-get more of her books!
Good story, good character development. I got involved and hated to put it down. I really like this author and hope Audible gets more of her books soon (she has many)! This book is part of a family of books and it would be nice to listen to more of them.
Definitely worth a credit!
Another good story. Bradley really adds depth to characters we have already met. Although the book could stand alone, it is a definite compliment to the first in the series and another enjoyable listen. The tale continues with more intrigue and challenges. The narrator is top of the line!
