I have used Rosetta Stone, I have taken Spanish 1 and 2 in college, and I know a lot of people who speak it. All of those helped me as far as understanding the grammar but they never gave me the confidence to really speak the language, know that I am pronouncing things correctly (a strenuous task when you have a thick southern accent). However, Pimsleur did help me out greatly. I have done all of Phase 1 and redoing and can't wait to get through all of them. Part of the reason for this excitement was that I just came back from Costa Rica (which I also strongly recommend visiting) and at first I was a little nervous about maybe having to speak Spanish to know where we were going sometimes or whatever since I'm the only one in my family who even knows a little. Once I got my confidence up, I was surprised at how much of a conversation I could hold with various people, waitresses, taxi drivers, etc. I recommend using these sites in conjunction with the audio courses. Google translate helps some, and the main one you should use is this other online site - search a verb and it gives you all of it's conjugations so you are able to take it a little further then the Pimsleur program and get an idea of the conjugations especially for the irregular verbs. I recommend all of these especially since I am also trying to learn French now (going to France soon) and I have no background in French at all and finding it difficult without knowing anything about its grammar.

The only real negative aspect I would say of this Pimsleur course, especially if you are using your phone is that it would be great if they could develop it where it would show you the sentences that you are saying so that you know how things are spelled, can analyze the sentence structure, and so on.

Anyway, it's recommended, best of luck.

A tale of mystery, adventure, and political intrigue, this conclusion to Dumas’ swashbuckling musketeer saga is based on the true story of a masked prisoner who dwelled in the Bastille during the Louis XIV’s reign and whose identity remains in question to this day.

Essentially, it covers the four musketeers thirty-five years later where Aramis knows a state secret and attempts to over throw the king. However, it barely involves the poor soul condemned to the iron mask, not justification is ever redeemed, and we find ourselves mourning the lost of some beloved characters. The Three Musketeers was about the beginning of four intertwined souls and the Man in the Iron Mask is about their ending. Out of all of Dumas works that I have read, I am the least pleased with this one.

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

It was a good book, the narrator does a good job. Interesting concept that has a kind of Orwellian 1984 theme to it. Almost as if it could be set on the outskirts of the society in 1984. A good read, not necessarily a must read but well worth it.

There’s something out there: a juggernaut of evil bearing down to crush the Republic - unless one lone Jedi, shunned and reviled, can stop it. Revan: hero, traitor, conqueror, villain, savior. A Jedi who left Coruscant to defeat Mandalorians - and returned a disciple of the dark side, bent on destroying the Republic. The Jedi Council gave Revan his life back, but his memories have been erased. All that’s left are nightmares - and deep, abiding fear. What exactly happened beyond the Outer Rim? Revan can’t quite remember, yet can’t entirely forget.

Story didn't end like I had hoped it was but still it was a very good story. Narration was really great along with sound effects to make it sound more alive. Great for listening on a long drive or something of the sorts.
