"One of my all time favorites"
Great story, great narration, perfect combination.
Ralph, was my favorite character. The story centers on him.
The scenes where Ralph's father gently molds the character of his son are my favorites.
The end of the book is very poignant.
"The ending was too abrupt"
I loved the combination of the story being told by different characters in the book and the multi-voice recording. The readers did an excellent job.
I liked hearing each character's take on the events happening in the story.
It is easier to keep track of who is saying what when it is a multi voice recording.
No extreme reactions.
The book progressed well until the end, which was too abruot.
"Best fiction book I have listened to"
I loved everything about The Book Thief, from the story to the narration.
One of the most memorable moments of The Book Thief is the last time Max is seen in the book.
Allan Corduner's performance gave the exact pace and dialect to the narrator's voice.
It touched me both ways.
This book is highly recommended.
"Logical and doable"
The author did an excellent job of conveying research in a readable, enjoyable way.
When the author talked about the effect of her research on herself, especially when it came to weight loss.
I highly recommend this book.
"A really unique pont of view"
I loved the author's passion for what he is talking about. He was all engaged.
I would compare this book to Freakonimics and Outliers because it puts old understandings in a whole new light.
I have not listened to anything else by Chip Conley.
I will apply the equations from this book as I consider my own tensions in day to day life.
"Good in parts, okay in the rest"
The most memorable parts of the book were the personal stories. The marriage advice was okay, but getting to know the Kellers was best.
If you compare this book to Tim Keller's other books, this one is good by any standard except the one Tim Keller sets. This is a good book, but one of his weakest.
The readers did an excellent job.
I did not listen to this book in one sitting.
"I bought three copies for friends"
It is one of the better audio books I have listened to.
There are many memorable moments that I could detail, but that would take too long.
One of my favorite parts was when he talked about the routine of creativity.
