Sometimes being the grim reaper really is that. Grim. And since Charley’s last case went so awry, she has taken a couple months off to wallow in the wonders of self-pity. But when a woman shows up on her doorstep convinced someone is trying to kill her, Charley has to force herself to rise above. Or at least get dressed. She quickly realizes something is amiss when everyone the woman knows swears she’s insane.

I love this series. I love that Charley is such a smart ass, even when everything is down, she is able to fall back on being a smart ass. Charley has an extremely rough life. If I were her, I would've curled up in a ball and you couldn't get me out.

Charley does start off the book in that type of mental state, but pulls out of it. I'm still amazed at her father, which ended the last book by trying to have her arrested. This book he is even worse. I have no idea what is wrong with this guy.

I'm still not sure what I think of Reyes. One minute I think he is an okay guy, then the next, I just want Charley to send him back to hell.

Overall, I LOVE this series. I just can't get enough. I can't see where Charley goes next and what she will learn about herself and her powers.

This is really a review for the entire trilogy. It is really hard to separate each story, because the story line continues through each book so well.

I originally won this trilogy in a contest by the author. I read the books and fell in love with this trilogy. I'm am soooooo happy that I got all three books at the same time. Cliffhanger is a word that could be used. The style of this trilogy is that each book has its own romantic story, but the suspense follows through all three books. You do not know who the serial killer is until you are most of the way through Book 3. Even listening to this book after reading it, I was looking for clues to point me to the killer, and I still didn't see anything slip. It is a total shock who the killer is.

Hope Carson may not look like a survivor, but she has escaped an abusive ex-husband and recovered from a vicious assault. Now she endures the painful memories and suspicious rumors surrounding her involvement in the attack. Her ex is a cop, so the last people she trusts are law enforcement officials - and she certainly doesn't trust how the local DA makes her feel inside. Remy Jennings should know better. He has no business falling for a woman who he suspects may have a deeply troubled mind.

Olivia Kiskey needs a change. She’s been working at the same Nodaway Falls, New York, waffle house since she was a teenager; not a lot of upward mobility there. This book is a cute read. The story is okay. Funny at first, but I'm not sure what I thought of the ending.

I listened to it. The narrator is the same woman who does Molly Harper's books. She does a a good job.

Not the best read in the world, but not bad either. If you're looking for a light read with some chuckling, this would be a good book.

    Did not finish.

I just couldn't get into the characters. I tried and made it about 3/4 of the way through. I had to stop when I noticed myself not paying attention in the lest. Something would come up and I was like "what is going on" and it was because I wasn't paying attention. I had to back the audio up three times in three different places before I finally said, "I quit".

Wes Railey is the object of Nora's tamest yet most maddening fantasies, and the one man she can't forget. He's young. He's wonderful. He's also thoroughbred royalty and, reuniting with him in Kentucky, she's in his world now. But this infamous New York dominatrix is no simpering Southern belle, and Nora's dream of fitting into Wesley's world is perpetually at odds with the relentlessly seductive pull of Søren - her owner, her lover, the forever she cannot have.

I love this series. This story is terrific, though it has a HUGE cliffhanger at the end.

I'm not a huge fan of this narrator. She doesn't do a very good job at Soren's voice and he has a very large part in this book. The other voices are okay, but his really turned me off this narrator.

    Still exceptional book.

Infamous erotica author and accomplished dominatrix Nora Sutherlin is doing something utterly out of character: hiding. While her longtime lover, Søren - whose fetishes, if exposed, would be his ruin - is under scrutiny pending a major promotion, Nora's lying low and away from temptation in the lap of luxury. Her host, the wealthy and uninhibited Griffin Fiske, is thrilled to have Nora stay at his country estate, especially once he meets her traveling companion.

Oh. My. God. I just love Tiffany Reisz. This book was WONDERFUL. I love all the characters, though Soren still scares the crap out of me. This book is extremely intense and is probably too much for some people. Tiffany is the biggest mind f*ck ever. Just when I think I know what is going on, she throws something at me.

The audiobook was done very well. I had read the book previously, which I do a lot. The narrator does a great job.

Angel Crawford is finally starting to get used to life as a brain-eating zombie, but her problems are far from over. Her felony record is coming back to haunt her, more zombie hunters are popping up, and she’s beginning to wonder if her hunky cop-boyfriend is involved with the zombie mafia. Yeah, that’s right—the zombie mafia. Throw in a secret lab and a lot of conspiracy, and Angel’s going to need all of her brainpower—and maybe a brain smoothie as well—in order to get through it without falling apart.

I just love this series. It has a very troubled heroine that finds herself as a zombie. In the first book, she has to figure out that she is a zombie and how to deal with that. In this book, she is still working on her relationship with her father, which is on shaky terms at best. She is also have some issues with her boyfriend/zombie-dad, Marcus. When she is held at gun point and one of her bodies stolen, her past comes back to haunt her. It even makes the front page of the paper. No one believes that she didn't just lose the body.

In this book, we really see Angel grow as a character. She still isn't perfect and falls back into old habits. She has a tendency to go back to the "I don't care" attitude. Then she realizes that she screwed up. You can see that she is starting to realize that she needs to grow up and start acting like an adult and working things out with conversations and not yelling matches.

Once again, Diana Rowland has created another winner. I just love this series. I've recommended it to several people who are not big in the paranormal genre. This series is just an all around great read.

Notorious Nora Sutherlin is famous for her delicious works of erotica, each one more popular with readers than the last. But her latest manuscript is different - more serious, more personal - and she's sure it'll be her breakout book…if it ever sees the light of day. Zachary Easton holds Nora's fate in his well-manicured hands. The demanding British editor agrees to handle the book on one condition: He wants complete control. Nora must rewrite the entire novel to his exacting standards - in six weeks - or it's no deal. Nora's grueling writing sessions with Zach are draining…and shockingly arousing.

Wow, I'm about half way through this book. I can balerly put it down. But I have to get some sleep.

I read this book based on this review by Mandi. I was very intrigued and decided that I had to read it. I am extremely glad I did. This is a phenomenal story. I love the characters, they are extremely deep. I worry about all the characters. It seems that there will not be a happy ending, but I cannot imagine the story ending any other way.

I will say that I am terrified of Soren. But I'm also very curious about him. I hope we get to learn more about him in The Angel.

I love this book. I'm now listening to audiobook. I'm a little over an hour in. I love Nora.

Just finished the audiobook. I should've waited until closer to when The Angel comes out. Now I have to wait impatiently. Love this book.
