Stories of our troops in action. The politics of some of our decisions. The work of some exceptional soldiers. The sadness of our lost warriors. and the families who endured.

My daughter just returned from working as a soldier at an outpost in Southern Afghanistan. She is a changed person. I doubt if she'll talk about it. But it gives me an insight of what she had gone thru. Short supply of water. Primitive conditions. 4 weeks of no showers nor change of clean uniforms. I could go on but the stories in the book gave me a lot of insight of what she has done and gone through.

Jake Tapper was exceptional in his research. An exhaustive interview of all the soldiers involved. And Narrator Rob Shapiro was outstanding in presenting the material. Held my attention through out the book. Great work. Rob. Thank you Jake, your book came at a good time for me.

Fantastic, Michael Connelly attention to detail is worth noting

Another fine story by Michael Connelly. As I said early...His attention to detail makes this novel a spell binder.

It really was bad....the story

Awesome....witty....funny..... sensual.
The cover captured my attention and the story background interested me. Wow..this is book three. and now Books one and two are on my wish list. Interesting side note on the audios end, of the Interview with Darynada Jones by Lorelei King.

At first I was a little disappointed that Jim Marsters wasnt narrating the book. However reading some of the later reviews changed that. John Glover did an excellent job....I totally forgot who was narrating and focused on the story. WOW....Jim Butcher writes another great tail. I cant wait to find out what happens next to Harry Dresden. Thanks Jim....Dont stop your stories.

Awesome story...Fast pace. Chicago Police woman with a dark past comes to light. Fantastic narration by Eliza Foss. This book was recommended by my favorite author Lee Child....Wondering how good it could be, one author recommending another?????....I was not disappointed. Charlie Newton really worked his characters well. Looking forward to other audios by this author. Thank you Audible.com.

James Marsters carries the listener through out the entire book. He is a man who enjoys the Dresden Files. And only one word can fully say how I enjoyed this read.....WOW.

With Susan's many years with the CIA she gave us a look of what really happens with in those walls. Excellent story that can be true. Witty....insightful.....edge of your seat narrations by a host of narrators. I truthfully hated to have the story end.

James Butcher continues to entertain and surprise me. Every story gets better and better. Of course with the Narrations of James Marsters which does an outstanding read. He captivates and holds my attention through out the entire book.

Great stories and great storytelling I cant wait for another Butcher novel..

This was the most interesting audio book I ever had the pleasure of owning. Hours of enjoyment for those long drives I have to make.
