Ever since the gods of Ancient Egypt were unleashed in the modern world, Carter Kane and his sister, Sadie, have been in trouble. As descendants of the House of Life, the Kanes have some powers at their command, but the devious gods haven’t given them much time to master their skills at Brooklyn House, which has become a training ground for young magicians. And now their most threatening enemy yet—the chaos snake Apophis—is rising.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Throne of Fire to be better than the print version?

my daughter has a reading disablilty so I love to get the audiobook after she reads the text. this allows her review and learn about a lot she missed while reading. Audiobooks have enriched her love for books because she realizes if she takes her time reading a book she will get so much more out of it. I always buy audio books for her required reading for school and essays. she also loves to listen before bed settles her right down.

Have you listened to any of Kevin R. Free and Katherine Kellgren ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    very well done

    Any additional comments?

    just plane love them.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

Would you listen to The Help again? Why?

Yes, I have listened serveral times. I found this book more livley and heart felt the second time around.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

Loved the narration, each character was truely brought to life. I was able to hear the happiness, anxiousness and fear in the vioces.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I often heard myself saying, oh no! or have a little chuckle slip out when listening

    Any additional comments?

    Definently a excellent choice.

About three things I was certain. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him, and I didn't know how dominant that part might be, that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

What made the experience of listening to Twilight the most enjoyable?

Hearing it and invisioning the characters as you see them in your mind. The book is so well written and the movie doesn't even come close. You can smell flowers, feel the warmth, heartbreak and conflict the surrounds Edward, Bella and Jacob.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Twilight?

I was on the edge of my set when Bella was in the alley surrounded by the four drunk guys.

Which character – as performed by Ilyana Kadushin – was your favorite?

I loved all the Characters. She was able to put a unique spin on each voice to make them individuals. would love to hear more of her.

    Any additional comments?

Way better than the movie. Get the book first!
