If you could sum up Cover of Darkness in three words, what would they be?

Story was ok but the seals would be ashamed. Deck was terrible. He just leaves his principle then he's pissed when she gets hurt. Jackass.

He lives in solitude beneath the city, an exile from society, which will destroy him if he is ever seen. She dwells in seclusion, a fugitive from enemies who will do her harm if she is ever found. But the bond between them runs deeper than the tragedies that have scarred their lives. Something more than chance - and nothing less than destiny - has brought them together in a world whose hour of reckoning is fast approaching.

I am Seriously disappointed. I'm a huge koontz fan so I bought this book without even reading the summary. I'm having trouble accepting that koontz even wrote this book, it's that far off base from what I expect from him. In my opinion this book is a waste of money. Step it up Dean!

Phillip's brothers, Cameron and Ethan, are now happily married. The family boat-building business is starting to thrive. And the Quinns are closer than ever to keeping Seth permanently protected from his errant mother who would sell her own son rather than loving him the way the Quinns do.

What made the experience of listening to Inner Harbor the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed this series a lot but I am disappointed with this last book. It seems that this book was short and very rushed compared to the last two. This could have very easily had several more chapters in between beginning and end. The performance was very good which I find very important in an audio book as some narrators are so bad I can't even finish the book. Overall a good read, but it could have been much better.

The performance from both or the narrators was so bad that I'm trying to get a refund for this audio book. I listen to several books a week and this is the worst narration I've heard yet. I love this series so far and plan on reading this book and hoping the narrators have changed for the next book. Plus why change narrators when the previous one was great? Stupid, stupid, stupid. I mean really, how did the producer allow this? Shame on you.

What disappointed you about Born in Fire?

The narrator is so bad I couldn't concentrate on the book, I listened for about five minutes and deleted the book and bought another one. All I could hear was him gulping in air every few sentences. Very very disappointed.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Fiacre Douglas?

Anyone else. Seriously, anybody. A seven year old child maybe.

There's something inside of him, some dormant part that's been awakened. And now it wants to be set free.... Something's wrong with Sebastian Kent. Already considered an outsider in the vampire community as a half-vampire, half-something else, he'll do everything in his power to hide his weakness. But when sickness strikes, he has no choice but to turn to a human for help - a woman whose touch provides his only relief.

What would have made Hunger Awakened better?

50 shades meets twilight. Terrible story. All poorly written sex scenes. I want my money back.
