OK, again I chime in with the rest of the reviews... THE NARRATOR IS AWFUL. She does sound like an 8 year old... the back ground sound is awful!
I am curious if the Cast duo would've picked this child to speak for their book? Also hearing a little girl cursing is like nails on a chalkboard.
just my thoughts.
I really enjoyed this story! I am a huge fan of all Lauren Willig books comprising time period, mystery, intrigue , and customs of that time and Julia Quinn nailed it! She has all the fun factors of a good story!
I had a blast going thru this story ... what a hoot . Funny and heart warming and totally unexpected.
Thnx for a great diversion in my hectic life
I really enjoyed a fresh perspective into this age old tale... It is amazing to think that this took place in history.
she did fantastic on both book 1 & 2.
I am impressed, the story keeps you hooked
Sarah Addison Allen's stories are TOTALLY MAGICAL. I want to be sure that is understood.
The reader made the story go flat - I struggled with this one :(
my favorite is Kate Reading ,, BUT Sarah A. A. has had other gr8 readers too.
Audible + Sarah A. A. = a win !
I echo what's been said... NICE SURPRISE I appreciate Audible, and enjoy being a member!
I have to say this narrator should read for little kids' books BUT these books need Edwina. She captures the characters & this girl sounds like a pre adolescent child & it disturbs me to hear her say F*** or any of the kind ...seems so wrong!
