Written from a Christian constitutional worldview, American Meltdown, Book Two of The Economic Collapse Chronicles uses dystopian fiction to take an in-depth look at the economic and political trends that have taken America to the edge of bankruptcy. The book assesses the current course of the nation and projects it into the near future. In Book Two, America has entered into a full scale financial meltdown. The members of the Bair family do the best they can to navigate a complete currency collapse and the social disruptions that come with it.

This lady did a wonderful job with her book and her own narration. I recommend it to all especially the "so-called" Progressives. Ha
Anyway Mrs. Loesch gives more factual information than any other writter I've read on the subject of wanna-be dictators trying to destroy the 2nd. Amendment.
If only the whole of the earth would read this book, not just law-abiding Americans but the nations that are now buried in the dictatorship governments they are forced to live under.
It would do them good to learn about their own anti-citizen governments and Americans to hold with "both hands" our Rights.

In this final book of the 299 Days series, The 43 Colonels celebrates the many "ordinary" men and women who did extraordinary things during and after the Collapse. Set in the chambers of the New Washington Legislature during a joint session of the House and Senate, Governor Ben Trenton honors Colonel Grant Matson and 42 other individuals who helped start the Restoration.

Unfortunately this is the last in the series and the way it's written I don't see another coming off of it. This last book is unique and went into details that gave answers to obvious questions as to how New Washington developed into what it became in the book series.
    You'll enjoy it.

Whisper of the Seventh Thunder is a thriller ripped from today's headlines with roots into what many believe might be the coming apocalypse. When Gabriel Stone's devout wife dies in an unlikely airline disaster, he finishes the novel she had warned him not to write. The book goes inside and behind the Bible's Book of Revelation to reveal startling connections to covert operations that are, quite unknown to Stone, about to tear the world's political landscape to shreds.

Could we be living in a time of which there is more prophetic writings than of any period in history? Noah Parker, like many in the United States, has been asleep at the wheel. During his complacency, the founding precepts of America have been slowly, systematically destroyed by a conspiracy that dates back hundreds of years. The signs can no longer be ignored and Noah is forced to pull his head out of the sand and see things for what they really are.

A long-buried family secret resurfaces when one of Aloysius Pendergast's most implacable enemies shows up on his doorstep as a murdered corpse. The mystery has all the hallmarks of the perfect murder, save for an enigmatic clue: a piece of turquoise lodged in the stomach of the deceased. The gem leads Pendergast to an abandoned mine on the shore of California's desolate Salton Sea, which in turn propels him on a journey of discovery deep into his family's sinister past.

This series is certainly one of the best I've ever listened to or read for that matter. I've followed several other authors but have to say I'm sorry that I'm on book 10 now because that's the end of the series and rightly so but man this series has been not only entertaining but an eye opener to what could very well be the future of our Republic. What a great narration as well.

The Change of Seasons is the seventh book in the 299 Days series, where summer has ended and reality has set in at Pierce Point. For many people, this means scrambling to survive the long winter with even less food. Some were smart enough to spend the summer preparing for the changing season and the expanding effects of the Collapse; others were not so smart, and their desperation and fear grows stronger by the day.

For many people at Pierce Point and the rest of Washington State, the upcoming New Year is a time for hope, and belief that life is going to improve and the Collapse will end. For Grant Matson and the 17th Irregulars, the New Year means only one thing - war. The time has come, and they have received their orders from HQ. Grant must come clean with Lisa and tell her the truth about his work as he plans to abandon his family once again.

In some ways, post-Collapse life at Pierce Point resembles the everyday normalcy that Grant and others still hoped would return. The community is organized and humming along smoothly, the young guys on the Team are partnering off with local “Team Chicks”, and Grant's daughter has found a boyfriend. For most, the new reality has been accepted and a calm, self-sustaining groove is setting in. For others, though, life is far from normal.

This series is very well written, the story as well as the characters are well developed, the situations that lead into another set of circumstances that leads into another situation and new characters are so well done it is really a pleasure to listen to and follow the entire series.
The narrater chosen is one of my favorites and he proves why through out the narration of these books. If you've read Patriots or One Second After you'll surely appreciate these books.
