This may be the last in the series rather hard to tell it could certainly go on, but either way it was a great ending to the first two of the series that I've read. You will not want to miss this book. The characters are as well written and the narration is as good as the others. enjoy I know you will

The international monetary system has collapsed three times in the past hundred years, in 1914, 1939, and 1971. Each collapse was followed by a period of tumult: War, civil unrest, or significant damage to the stability of the global economy. Now James Rickards, the acclaimed author of Currency Wars, shows why another collapse is rapidly approaching - and why this time, nothing less than the institution of money itself is at risk.

This book lays it all out in more or less easy to understand concepts, and those that are more complicated the author takes the time to define them in such a way you will understand the point of it. It's very well written and it is what I have believe has been going on in our fed gov for a very long time and imparticularly with the obama administration and what I perceive he is doing straight up by design. You will come away from this book with a very indepth understanding and I'm sure it will for you as it did for me .... I'm getting prepared!

This seems to be the last in the series but if you're like me you'll want more. The author is as steady and true to the story line as the other 2 books. You'll be glad you continued with the series. And as always the narrator brings the characters to life.

Three terrorist attacks are launched from freighters against the United States. Only one fully succeeds, but in the blink of an eye all of the country west of the Rocky Mountains is transformed into the technological equivalent of the 18th century - no electricity, no computers, no electronics of anykind, or any of the amenities of modern life that depend on them. This is the story of ordinary and extraordinary people, high and low, who struggle to survive in a mortally wounded nation, as America's enemies within and without circle for the kill.

    Story

Other than the obvious push to justify homosexuality and the authors’ love of sex with men, the story was good. It held my interest even thru the garbage bag of immorality and the God is dead theory. The characters were excellent and the choices the author made with the president and her husband where perfect I loved it especially their ends. More than obviously "oh no" mr. bill and hillary these two were represented perfectly and with great accuracy. The end of "oh no" mr. bill in the book aka BJ which remembering everything about Monica Lewinsky fits to a tee was sublime in its execution [no pun intended]. The way the story is laid out in the book sounds like it could very well happen as described and found myself imagining it very clearly while listen to the book. Not to mention the narrator did a great job of it. I'll be watching for a follow up or book 2, it seemed that the author left a lot of room for one to be written and I for one will be watching for it.
I recommend the book but again the homo crap could have been left out of it, do what you want in the privacy of your own bedroom, that's between you and your Creator as far as I'm concerned but don't shove it at me in your book[s]. Unless of course he was trying to be "Progressive" much like the commie-crates are today in the ongoing administration of the great pretender and lying king.
The whole book could have been a political espionage story. I had fun with the majority of it and I didn't want to put it down even with certain things that offended my sensibilities’.

This audiobook combines the three postapocalyptic adventure books of the Solitary Man Series. Look around. Millions of preppers are working feverishly every day to get prepared for what they fear is a disaster about to happen in America. The motivation for preparing differs for each person. Donald is getting his farmstead prepared in case a predicted solar storm takes out the electrical grid. Some folks might call what Donald is trying to create as a bug-out location. Other people consider his little rural house as an effort to become more self-sufficient, like a homesteader.

    Story

Not a bad story just very plain and I see the author wanted to keep it on the low key compared to other such authors. But there was some good information that you can take away from the book [have a pencil & paper handy], the only thing that I completely objected to as a real life prepper myself, was what the characters intended to do in the final book when they had to bug out of their present bug out location onto another that they weren't sure of to its condition. I did find this type of mind set completely unacceptable personally.

Forced into exile while his friends strive to clear his name, Bishop and his family encounter the best and worst mankind has to offer while they travel the badlands. The human animal is trying to regroup, striving to fill the vacuum in leadership left after the collapse and form productive societies. But it's not easy. The lack of basic necessities has weakened the resolve of many, allowing age-old tendencies to cloud the minds of men. Those that do step up and take the helm of governance may have alternative motives and hidden agendas.

Completely enjoyed this last book, the whole book from the written word to the narration to the music to the structure of the presentation was great. I enjoyed it all. Looking forward to more quality book[s] by Joe Nobody and I'm sure he'll have something for us in the future.
I've read all his books and this last one in the series [at least I believe it is by the ending] shows that a good author just gets better as he writes more often and Joe has most certainly improved his ability to keep an ol' die hard like me entertained.

Only six weeks have passed since a super-EMP attack devastated the United States, but already, life has changed dramatically. Most of America has become a wasteland filled with starving bands of people, mobs and gangs. Millions are dead and millions more are suffering, with no end in sight. For Gordon, Samantha, Sebastian, Cruz, and Barone, the turmoil and chaos they dealt with in the early weeks after the attack will seem trivial in comparison to the collapse of society that plays out before their eyes.

I really wish the second in this series was in Audible but I wasn't going to wait I went to Amazon and got the Kindle copy. Audible please get the rest of these I really like the whole character and circumstances etc etc and only wish I could listen rather than read the next in the series. I don't get much time to read but I drive long distances and the audible is SO great I hate to not find the next there.
If you're into these adventures you're going to love it, it's well written the narrator does a very good job, the characters are well developed and I completely recommend it to you.
You're going to enjoy it I assure you.

After having listened to the others in this series I've got to say Audible has a winning series going and from what I'm seeing more of the same type of adventures, keep them coming Audible.
The story continues with the same great characters and the narrator is very good at his job.
I highly recommend this if you've already listened to first in the series you can't go wrong with any of them.
