"Sounded interesting- not worth your time"
This book held a lot of financial talk. I felt like that was the majority of the book, although that was a critical part of the story line. However, the overall story line had a lot of depth it was simply dull. It lacked deep intruique. I found myself half listening most of the time, when there have been other audio books that have captivated my whole attention.
"Great sneek peek"
This preview was good- full of suspense. I can't wait to find out what happens.
Definately made me interested in purchasing the full audio book.
"Gillian Flynn does it again"
Just when you think you have it all figured out, there's more to the story.
My first Gillian Flynn audio book was Gone Girl. I quickly downloaded her other two books, Sharp Objects and Dark Places. I'm truly impressed with her writing style. Both Gone Girl and Sharp Objects captured my attention immediately and throughout the entirety of the stories. I can't wait to listen to Dark Places and I hope she's working on a fourth book! If you've read one of her books, you might as well get them all. If you're wavering, just buy it. You'll be glad you did.
"Simple, casual story that kept me hooked."
I have not, however it was difficult to understand his words at first, but simply needed to train my ear. It took but a few minutes. Afterwards I appreciated his voice even more.
This was a simple story, but truly kept me hooked. I felt pulled in all directions emotionally. A great listen.
"Blew me away"
I loved the voices of the two narrators going back and forth as the book was written. This kept the story lively and more "real." Great story line that kept me hooked the entire time. So many twists and turns to the plot. I absolutely loved it.Lots of late nights listening!
They added life to the pages. There was already a lot of substance to the story, but they brought out the characters even more.
Yes!
