    If you can get past his ignorance of the military the book is great. Story line is one of my favorites. after reading the first book, i had to get the second. I hope the third one will be release.

    Read this if you ever want to know what Milton Waddams (the guy with the stapler in "Office Space") would do if put into a life or death, end of the world situation. Nothing, lock himself in a house and pray noone look him in the eye, and wait for the mob to kill him and his family. I haven't finished the book, don't know if I will.

    The infection / parasites should have been more simple for belief. A little to complex for my tastes. The story dragged, i continually thought it would get moving and it would just drag. Through narration they tried to compenstate, but it seemed more distracting to me.

    Not sure if I will go for the next book.

    I love the genre so I managed to get through it. pretty good storyline, but the diary like flow was distracting and mono-tone. It also ended two quickly, almost as if the author lost interest halfway through a book.
