Would you listen to Kill Alex Cross again? Why?

I had read all of the Alex Cross series to date. James Patterson writes suspenseful thrillers with touching love stories and family stories intertwined. He is magnificent!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Nana Mama is always my favorite character. Her love of family and her spunk reminds me of what families should be!

No, they're equal. I just have more time to listen, then to read.

When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

If you could sum up Fifty Shades of Grey in three words, what would they be?

    Erotic, Sensual, Sad

What other book might you compare Fifty Shades of Grey to and why?

What about Becca Battoe’s performance did you like?

Her performance was straight forward, unembarrased, and a wonderful acting job!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not really.. It made me a little sad because Anastasia Steele continually whined about how Christian Grey was not able to offer her what she needed, when to the mature reader, it was obvious that he WAS offering all he had to give.

    Any additional comments?

I can't wait to read Fifty Shades Darker
