The series is the best zombie story that I have heard to date, and Siege ranks #2.
Day by day Armegeddon, because it's another really good zombie story of the same caliber.
The excitement at the mall( I don't want to spoil the story with specifics)
In a world overrun by the living dead, man is still the most dangerous predator.
This story has everything! Great character development, drama, suspense, intensity, and thrills! Cassandra Campbell does an amazing job of breathing life into the characters. You care about them, and Cassandra has much to do with that.
I love this story! A continuation of the Zombie Fallout universe and my favourite half-human/half-vampire, Michael Talbot. Even BT is present, via his great grand daughter, Bailey! Mark Tufo continues to make interesting characters that you care about, and keeps the storylines interesting! Keep them coming!
The promise of a good basic storyline and premise.
real zombies acting in zombie movie.
The story had promise, but petered out with a weak ending. I am hoping that the upcoming sequel does better and lives up to the first two books.
Everything! It was predictable, slightly boring, and frankly...it seems that Jeff Lindsey just phoned this one in!
Made it quite a bit less anti-climatic! or Write another Dexter book that treats this one as just a bad dream!
While he is a great author, he lacks a bit in the role of narrator. He speaks too fast at times and runs sentences together.
I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, it WAS a Dexter story. But on the other hand, it wasn't a very good Dexter story. So...it was worth a listen-but not worth a second listen.
Please don't leave Dexter as is with this...(what feels like) conclusion. Mr. Lindsey, you can do much better!
Yes. Because it's a unique and imaginative story, that is well-written and well-told by the narrator.
It had a few similar plot lines as Darwinia, but infinitely better. It had the power to pull me in, similar to Day by Day Armaggedon.
Emily, of course!
Yes. It was THAT good!
If you are a fan of good scifi in the apocalyptic genre, this series will not disappoint!
Funny intelligent Sarcastic
When he was sure that he was not an author.
Lewis Black doesn't move you.....he makes you laugh. And that's exactly what he does in this work.
At his worst, Lewis Black is just funny. While this is far from his best work, it is witty, sharp-tongued and laugh out loud funny. A very enjoyable listening experience!
That was great!
Thomas. He was kind of a bad guy before the zombies, so he was really in his element.
Not that I'm aware of, but he did a great job of differentiating each of the characters. They never blended or got lost in his narration/performance.
The end was a one-two punch of surprises. I was caught off guard by the plot twists.
This was a great story. I was expecting a sequel/prequel to the previous zombie story from iain McKinnon, but this is a great story on its own!
Yes. The quality and tone of the narrator really adds to the humour of the book.
The fact that each and every one of these "ideas" is true, and have been perpetrated on the American public and the world!
There are too many great ones to choose a favourite!
Yes! It's so funny!
I certainly hope that the authors do a follow-up to this, as there have been another book full's worth of "worst ideas ever" unleashed since the 2011 release date!
I would because Kirsten Potter does a great job as narrator. She breathes life into Danny and Kelly, as well as the other characters that I wouldn't have experienced in the print edition.
The Risen Flesh. Such an evil, opportunistic thing, and well imagined by the author. His appearance in the story brings glimpses of the horrors that lay beneath the quaint facade of "Happy Town" and the purpose of its human inhabitants. He is the terrifying icing on an horrifying layer cake of evil!
Danny, of course! The story is told mostly from her point of view. She also does Kelly much justice.
Yes. I really liked the first one, but this book took the story to a whole new level!
Rise Again is not your run of the mill zombie story. It has great plot twists and good character development. Can Kelly be trusted? Who's side is she really on?
Revelation, intensity, Destiny.
The truth about Deneaux. No spoiler from me!
The Library. Again, not giving anything away!
Just when you thought that walking corpses couldn't get any scarier.....!!!
This book takes the story in a whole different direction, while tieing itself to another Tufo story with just one word! This is one of the best in the series.
Yes. The story is told through journal entries and some major events in the story are told in past-tense blurbs, but it's done well. I don't think that I would've liked the print version as much.
The "discovery" at the stadium. I don't want to give too much away!
No. But he does a great job. His voice reminds me of Oliver Wyman and Christian Rummel.Very nice.
No. but it wouldn't have bothered me to do so.
This is a good zombie story. Although it really doesn't bring anything new to the zombie genre, it's a good tale worth the listen.
