The women at Vows - a wedding planning company in Connecticut - make it their business to create memorable events for couples sealing their bonds. And though the bonds among Parker, Emma, Mac, and Laurel may not be official, they are very real - and equally worthy of celebration.

I read this series and looked forward to listening to it. This narrator ruined the story. One voice and a lisp too! - I am glad to see the narrator was changed for the 2nd and 3rd book in the series so I am looking forward to hearing those. I recommend reading the paper copy and skipping this audio.

Myron Bolitar has always dreamed about the femme fatale walking into his office and asking for help. The woman standing in his doorway has killer curves all right: She’s eight months pregnant, which kind of ruins the fantasy. Former tennis star Suzze T and her rock star husband, Lex, are both clients, and over the years Myron has negotiated his share of contracts for the power pair. But now Lex has disappeared and Suzze is in tears, fearing the online rumors questioning the baby’s paternity have driven away Lex.

The tenth Myron Bolitar and it is great! Steven Weber is an extraordinary narrator. The combination can't be beat. Be sure to get the unabridged version. Each subplot is fascinating on its own.

Author Mary Sheldon makes her writing debut with this compelling novel. Arriving home from school one day, eight-year-old Alexis is devastated when she learns of her mother's abandonment. Now 40, Alexis is drawn back into her tragic past through the eyes of a troubled teen. The emotional reading by Barbara Rosenblat lends heartbreaking awareness to every single sentiment.

Ms Rosenblat does such an exceptionally fine job with the narration. She brings life to the characters and keeps you wanting more. The story is not action packed but it slowly unwinds the story of a mother and daughter that makes you mourn for what could have been. It is a good listen. I would recommend it if you like life stories.

Amanda Travis is a high-powered, 28-year-old lawyer whose greatest likes are spinning classes at her Palm Beach gym and a compliant jury. As for the things she hates, they include nicknames, the color pink, clients who don't follow her advice, and memories. Unfortunately, running from her past becomes a lot harder when one of her ex-husbands calls from her hometown of Toronto with the alarming news that her mother has shot and killed a complete stranger.

This book is so poorly written that it is painful. I have enjoyed Fielding in the past but this one misses on all counts. The heroine's lack of self esteem is tedious and at times overwhelming. The author's constant use of the heroine talking out loud to herself and mixing it with her dialogue with other makes it very hard to follow. Don't waste your money on this one.

Georgie York, once the costar of America's favorite television sitcom, has been publicly abandoned by her famous husband, her film career has tanked, her father is driving her crazy, and her public image as a spunky heroine is taking a serious beating. What should a down-on-her-luck actress do?

I always enjoyed the sharp wit of Phillips' books. Unfortunately this has a decidedly mean streak to the writing. It is hard to warm up to the characters as a result. The narrator's sing-song reading is difficult to listen to for long periods. While no one can replace Anna Fields, there are many narrators that could have made this a better listening experience.

The night his wife was taken. The last night he saw her alive. But now a message has appeared on his computer, a phrase only he and his wife know. If you are used to the Barbara Holloway series with narrator Anna Fields, it is a real disappointment to here his narrator's interpretation. She really makes Barbara seem a bit of an air head. I really can't even finish this book. I am going to move onto one of the novels narrated by Fields.

The judge looks like a shoo-in, until he outs himself on national TV. Ben calls a press conference for the now controversial candidate.
