When it came to protecting the innocent, Bobby Taylor was your man. But when his best friend, Wes, asked him to keep an eye on his little sister, Bobby desperately wanted to pass. Because to him, gorgeous redhead Colleen Skelly didn't look like anyone's kid sister. He doubted she was innocent. And he wanted to keep more than just his eye on her....

What did you like best about Taylor's Temptation? What did you like least?

The story itself is good, and after reading other books in this series I have come to really like Bobby's character. I had to overlook a quite a bit to like Colleen though, she seemd too stubborn and often childish, however that could be the narrator's interpretation of her. I liked the tension between the characters, their attraction sizzles. I have only read/listened to this book once, as the narrator is attrocious!!! Not only is her voice grating and very, very nasally, she consistently mispronounces names that have been established in the previous books in the series. Very distracting!! Luckily, or unluckily, this seems to be the only book she's narrated, as she is not skilled. I would have preferred Elizabeth Livingston, who read Get Lucky, or Maia Guest who read Harvard's Education.

Richard Hammond describes his childhood and adolescence and the emergence of the adrenalin junkie, the first ridiculous stunts on his tricycle, and an increasing and near obsessive attraction to speed and the smell of petrol. He finds an attractive girl, Mindy, who shares his interests and helps him organise his high-speed life.

    "Heartwarming"

Even though this is an abridged version, I was very moved by Richard Hammond's story. Through narration from both Richard and his wife Mindy, you can hear their love for one another as they share the story. I was moved to tears on several occasions. I will be renting this unabridged book very soon!!
