"One of Heinlein's Best"
This book impressed me. The idea of a massive ship designed to carry generations of humans and the dystopian society that occurs when it's descendants have forgotten the ship's original purpose is a truly original and fantastic setting ahead of it's time. Eric Michael Summerer's reading was superb. He gave personality and tone to each character.
"A good dramatization of the classic trilogy"
I've been a big fan of the written Foundation series. It was a treat to listen to the dramatization. It sounded good with British accented characters who did a superb job in capturing character personalities. I did not like the vintage "science fictiony" sounds used to change scenes but I can forgive that since thats how the producers did things back then. Although not every detail of the series could be brought out I was impressed with how faithful the dramatization was to the original. Almost 8 hours was an appropriate amount of time to properly tell the story.
