I usually never read books like this (love stories) but thought I would give it a try. I have to admit, it did hold my attention as I felt it was very well written and the narration was good. Since I rarely read these type of books, you would be better served to read the reviews of people who like these types of books, as I really don't have anything to compare it to.

I was disappointed in this book. I bought it to get a murder mystery, but this book contained way too many very explicit sex scenes. It was as if the author was trying to make it a murder mystery and romance novel combined, which just didn't work for me. The storyline was nothing great, as I usually like surprise endings, or twists and turns in a story, neither of which was contained in this book. Not sure if I will read any more of this authors books.

Although I am not a big science fiction fan, and had an idea from previous reviews that this story was in that genre, I I still downloaded it, due to the good reviews it got. It was a very entertaining book and was actually a great break from the type of stories I usually listen to.

I enjoyed this book and I enjoyed some of the twists that were involved. Overall I would recommend this book to others.

I really enjoyed this book. It kept my attention and I always enjoy the twists and turns that are in all of Connellys books.

This was my first book by David Rosenfelt and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. The storyline was good and it was also very funny. I am presently reading the 2nd book in the Andy Carpenter series. I will continue to read Mr. Rosefelts books.

I didn't like the book, as I thought it was boring. I thought the narrator did a good job, as his voice fit the story, but other than that, I'm glad it was only a short story.

After reading the first book in this trilogy, I couldn't wait to read the second. I thought it was just as rivoting as the first. I disagree with another writer who thought the narration was horrible. I found it just the opposite and thought the narrator did a fine job of portraying the different characters. Yes, the voices were somewhat absurd sounding, but I imagined they would sound that way, after hearing what absurd characters they were (by the descriptions of just how they looked). This is an excellent book and you won't want to put it down.

First of all, this is not normally the type of book that I read, however I had heard so many good things about it, that I decided to give it a shot. Am I ever glad that I did! I thought the story was rivoting and I immediately read the next two books in the trilogy. The narration was excellent as the narrator did a great job of helping one picture the character that she was portraying. I would highly recommend this book to everyone, even if this is not the typical kind of book you read. I recommended it to all of my friends.
