"Fun Series!"
Yes, I would. I really enjoyed the series.
Nick, of course. Julie James makes her male characters desirable.
I didn't have favorite character in particular that Karen performed. She performed all characters perfectly. Karen White really brought the book to life, Loved her!
I love when the lead characters first meet.
Great, fun series!
"Great and Informative"
Listening to the audiobook made me go out and purchase the print version. (Need to highlight key points in the book, notes, etc.)
Have never heard or read anything like it.
Mr. Chamberlains voice was an absolute asset.
The entire book gave me a rush.
"Sucker For Sands"
Not at the top. Maybe middle-high range.
Possible Spoiler:
I've read every book in the Argeneau series and have waited (still waiting) for Brickers story. The fact that he couldn't control Livy makes me wonder if she will be his life mate. Makes for a good book, what with all the awkwardness between Bricker, Paul and Jeanne Louise. Memorable indeed.
Paula was great with all the characters.
Other Argeneau female narrators were too . . . breathy.
Yes, except I'm never really sitting while I listen.
Entertaining nonetheless.
Great addition to the Argeneau series.
"Not Great . . . Not Horrible"
Daisy wasn't strong (enough). Not a typical Crusie female character.
Would have liked Daisy to dig in a little more. She gave in too easily.
It was OK.
Sure, it was a fun story.
"All Hype And No Skills To Pull It Off"
No.
No, but will make sure to choose a better author next time.
I found the entire experience was painful.
I disliked the entire book.
Crazy thing is, the only part that really made me cringe wasn't even sexual.
I shouted "No, no, no!" When Anastasia used Christians toothbrush. That freaked me out for some reason.
This book wasn't my cup of tea.
I really did want to like it, but the whole time I kept wanting to slap the main character.
I would have liked to have the author explain why Ana would let a man belittle her. Why was she so taken by him? What was in HER past that would make HER enter a relationship like that?
Christians money, power and good looks weren't enough for me.
I NEEDED there to be more. The book lacked depth.
The character wasn't relatable.
I'm two years older than Ana, from Seattle and could not identify with her. I didn't feel anything for her.
I can't count how many times I rolled my eyes at the dialogue.
We might be young, but we're not stupid. Twenty-somethings don't say "Oh my". Twenty-somethings don't generally like being told what to do. (Daddy Issues?)
I didn't like the whole Dominant-Submissive thing. I would never let a man dictate what I could and could not do.
To me, that shows a lack of spirit and love for oneself.
E.L. should have addressed more issues. If she would have made me feel something (anything) towards Ana then maybe I would have enjoyed it.
"Every man should read this!!"
Amazingly honest! Great book, should be given to sons, brothers, dads and any man in your life. Corolla gets it, he tells it like it is.
