If you could sum up Super Brain in three words, what would they be?

    Simple, Direct, Practical.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Narration is excellent

    Which scene was your favorite?

    The 2nd half

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes

    Any additional comments?

I will listen to this again for the practical advice of changing behavior by raising awareness. Like life which evolves even if one chooses to be listless, this book helps simplify choices and conflicts. Why do we keep doing the same thing? Listening to this book was like spending time with to a good friend. NOT judging yet guiding. The timing for me was good. Thanksgiving Day, Americans often share, reflect and appreciate. Day after, off to the races getting deals and pushing away. Strange beings we humans.

If you could sum up What Got You Here Won't Get You There in Sales in three words, what would they be?

    Engage, passion, listen.

If you are new to sales you can learn the habits to never start. If you are an old geezer like me who is especially fortunate growing with the same company, there is useful advice in stop doing what you may be doing loosing progress.

What was one of the most memorable moments of What Got You Here Won't Get You There in Sales?

Example of saying things not needed after close is agreed. Love the words, premature verbalization.

Have you listened to any of Brett Barry’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Mostly just samples. I like his approach. A good coach that is not yelling in eardrums and keeps you thinking after pause. Looking forward to hearing more business titles.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    So What? Now What?

The government is not a neutral arbiter of truth. It never has been. It never will be. Doubt everything. John Stossel does. A self-described skeptic, he has dismantled society's sacred cows with unerring common sense. Now he debunks the most sacred of them all: our intuition and belief that government can solve our problems. In No, They Can't, the New York Times best-selling author and Fox News commentator insists that we discard that idea of the "perfect" government - left or right - and retrain our brain to look only at the facts, to rethink our lives as independent individuals - and fast.

John Stossel clearly with unique simplicity puts holes in supposed well meaning government agendas. ??Those willing to open their mind with new ideas and listen without prejudice (right or left) can catch the bigger picture. ??We Americans need something better. ??Government works best when less complicated and less of. ??Let common sense and accountability set the standard and we get a bonus. A balance budget and more citizens living and enjoying the pursuit of happiness.

Friedman, one of our most influential columnists, and Michael Mandelbaum, one of our leading foreign policy thinkers, analyze those challenges - globalization, the revolution in information technology, the nation's chronic deficits, and its pattern of energy consumption - and spell out what we need to do now to rediscover America and rise to this moment.
