I loved this book and was sorry to have it come to an end. The narrator's voice fit so perfectly with the story. I don't know what made me pick this book out of all the others but it seemed interesting. It held my interest and I could hardly stop listening to get anything else done. You will really enjoy this book.

This was a wonderful book. So interesting I could hardly stop listening. The narrator was magnificent, one of the best, no the best one I have ever heard. As soon as I finished this book, I looked to see if this author had any other books in Audible but sadly, no. The content is very mature and not for children.

Why we think it’s a great listen: Some books are meant to be read; others are meant to be heard – Water for Elephants falls into the second group, and is one of the best examples we have of how a powerful performance enhances a great story. Nonagenarian Jacob Jankowski reflects back on his wild and wondrous days with a circus. It's the Depression Era and Jacob, finding himself parentless and penniless, joins the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth.
