A Hunger for the Infinite, which first appeared in Robert Silverberg's Far Horizons anthology, is a novella that takes place in the universe of "The Galactic Center Saga", detailing a galactic war between mechanical and biological life. Here, the pilots had made it to True Center in order to destroy something, anything, important to the Mechs, but Paris had something else on his mind. A story of the Mantis, and the decline of humans beginning in 3600 AD.

This was the warm-up for Battlefield Earth 11. There was plenty of action and space battles for us all. Anyone who doesn't like this one was wrong, wrong, wrong, This was classic Kyle Riggs at his best. The sad part was the death of Sandra. Everyone in the car had a tear in there eye.

Why we think it’s a great listen: It’s easy to say that when it comes to sci-fi you either love it or you hate it. But with Ender’s Game, it seems to be you either love it or you love it.... The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Enter Andrew "Ender" Wiggin, the result of decades of genetic experimentation.

What disappointed you about Ender's Game?

    This is a coming-of-age children's book masked as sci-fi

What was most disappointing about Orson Scott Card’s story?

Everything. I was so mad at myself for getting sucked into this series that I wasted 3 credits and did not ask for them back, so I would never make a Orson Scott Card mistake again.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

    Narrator was OK

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Ender's Game?

None, if you like children's books

    Any additional comments?

They should have labeled this "Teenage Coming-of-age"
And for the ones that rave about this series, you lead a very thin life.

Sherlock Holmes is the greatest detective in literary history. For the first time since the death of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, a new Holmes story has been sanctioned by his estate, whetting the appetites of fans everywhere. Information about the book will be revealed as deliberately as Holmes himself would unravel a knotty case, but bestselling novelist and Holmes expert Anthony Horowitz is sure to bring a compelling, atmospheric story to life.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

He must have needed a new Mercedes because this one stinks. I went through the whole series and it was great. This one is 80% blah, blah, blah and 20% meat.

Would you ever listen to anything by David Weber again?

    No

What didn’t you like about Allyson Johnson’s performance?

    Good
