This is a coming-of-age children's book masked as sci-fi
Everything. I was so mad at myself for getting sucked into this series that I wasted 3 credits and did not ask for them back, so I would never make a Orson Scott Card mistake again.
Narrator was OK
None, if you like children's books
They should have labeled this "Teenage Coming-of-age"
And for the ones that rave about this series, you lead a very thin life.
It's 85% policy and procedure manual and 15% SAR mission. Weber was buying a new Benz on out back.
Honsinger got a submarine warfare manual and paraphrased it into a si-fi novel. The story of 85% trivia tech and 15% war. Don't waste you credits on this one. This one is a flop from start to finish.
Check out my review on book #2 I don't want Audible to get to upset.
This series is pure entertainment and worth 5 stars.
This is a must listen for Clancy fan. It lives up to everything we expect from him, and
as we say down in New Awlins (New Orleans) of precious thing that has passed-
"Ani't there no more"
This was the warm-up for Battlefield Earth 11. There was plenty of action and space battles for us all. Anyone who doesn't like this one was wrong, wrong, wrong, This was classic Kyle Riggs at his best. The sad part was the death of Sandra. Everyone in the car had a tear in there eye.
To all Homes fans---This is as close to the "real deal" that we will get.
This is a poet trying to make a living writing and selling SF to SF fans-----Fo Get About It. This thing was terrable and it was free. Don't waste your time.
He must have needed a new Mercedes because this one stinks. I went through the whole series and it was great. This one is 80% blah, blah, blah and 20% meat.
