I’m trying to make it through, but the voice of the heroine is so hesitant it’s annoying. Maybe I am just not in the mood for this book. So I am going to put it aside until later. When the voice is narrating the story, it actually is pretty good. The hero's voice is good. Or maybe it’s the character of the Jocelyn that's the problem. She is annoying! Even when she is telling someone to stay away from her.....her voice has this freakin', annoying tremble. Can she not talk above a whisper? Like a historical heroine on the verge of a swoon! And after being so determined to escape, at the first real chance to escape she says, “Oh no, you go I trust you to come back and get me.” What the hell?!

I have to wait until Oct before the next book comes out!!! I do not want to wait. I listened to all 3 books over the last 3 days. I didn't want it to end :( I really really liked this author and the narrator. One of the best series that I have listened to.

The story was surprisingly good. I will definitely purchase the next book by this author.

This was a wonderful story told with great skill. I have loved the heroine throughout all the previous books and especially this one. “Raven Calls” is a great story that was written with incredible intensity and depth. It’s a totally rich experience. I hated for it to end!

Let me say first, that I have really enjoyed this series. I have listened or read all the books. But why did she sound so whiney?! She made all these threats throughout the entire story and backed it up with NOTHING! ZIP! NADA! Just a whiney little girl with lots of words and just full of it. If you are a freakin demon you ought to be able to kick butt, what the heck!

Humm, I have not listened to the entire book.....I am really trying! It seems soooo corny so far. I don't know if I am going to be able to finish it. I hate to waste my money or credits.

I am so glad you guys have multiple ways of rating. I really liked the book and this series. I did NOT like the narrator. For some reason the men's voices sounded okay, but the voices of the women ALL sounded like they were crying. All of the female voices sounded the same with a tremble in every sentence. Very annoying!

I loved the characters! I actually thought the narrator was a female, I didn't realize that the narrator was a male until I started this review. So, hats off to the narrator also! I will be waiting anxiously for the next installment.

I can't wait for the next one! Pretty complex world. Hummm Walmart was included in a supernatural story. Got to love it :) Hint: make it soon please lol!
