Hardships and heartache brought them together...now it could tear them apart. Layken and Will have proved their love can get them through anything; until someone from Will's past emerges, leaving Layken questioning the very foundation on which their relationship was built. Will is forced to face the ultimate challenge: how to prove his love for a girl who refuses to stop "carving pumpkins". "Sometimes two people have to fall apart, to realize just how much they need to fall back together."

Tonya says: "I enjoyed this book, not the narrator."

What made the experience of listening to Point of Retreat, Volume 2 the most enjoyable?

Nothing. I loved the book "Slammed" and bought this one immediately! I was so excited that this book was Will's POV

What did you like best about this story?

    I love the story.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I've been listening to audiobooks for about 5 years, mainly because I have two small children and it is the only way to "read" anything. I can't just sit down and read, I have to be up and moving all the time! After dozens of books (possibly hundreds) this is the first book I have had to stop listening to because of the narrator. He was totally slaughtering "Will" for me. Not only was his voice wrong, he spoke too quickly, almost slurring. Awful.

    Any additional comments?

Please don't waste your money. I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to narrators and can get past it usually, but this was awful. I just bought the book on my Kindle bc I love the story but cannot listen to this narrator!
