Nursing wealthy businessman Chicago DuBois back to health was the least Loretta Lovelace figured she could do. After all, it was her bet that set off Loretta’s stalker - and put Madison’s husband at death’s door. And with Madison out of the country, Loretta couldn’t resist looking after Chicago’s interests and reigniting his passion for life - in and out of bed. But now Madison wants to take back what’s no longer hers, and that’s a mistake Loretta plans to make her regret. With a baby on the way and a family empire to save, Madison knows it’s past time to make some tough decisions.

Would you try another book from Mary B. Morrison and/or Cary Hite?

Yes, I like Mary's stories for the most part. Cary Hite's voice has grown on me.

What could Mary B. Morrison have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I envisioned a better ending to the cliff hanger from the 1st book. I couldn't wait to read the next one. Boy did I get disappointed. These characters seemed watered-down.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Loretta should have remained sane. She was as crazy as Granville in this book. Madison got off too easy. She should have really gotten what was coming to her. I liked the unfolding story line of Madison's "sorry" dad. GRANVILLE IS STILL MY FAVORITE. HE IS CRAZY AS HE##. He's so stupid he's hilarious. He kept me laughing out loud.

Could you see I’d Rather Be with You being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

    No

I'm the woman Madison's husband truly loves. And I'll match her game for game to make him mine. Sindy Singleton isn't about to lose Chicago DuBois to Madison again. But getting him to open his heart once more won't be enough to satisfy her. Enlisting the help of Chicago's worst enemy is the fastest way she knows to expose Madison's most brazen deception yet. But Madison has more than one devastating card to play…

What did you love best about If You Don't Know Me?

Grandville is the best. He is a true nut and kept me laughing out loud.

What other book might you compare If You Don't Know Me to and why?

The 1st 2 books in this series....also great reads.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I didn't have one particular favorite scene, but Grandville's mention of his "wood being tired" cracked me up. You'll have to read it to know what I mean.

If you could rename If You Don't Know Me, what would you call it?

    Grandville's World

    Any additional comments?

Grandville is my favorite character in all 3 books. He should get his own book. I don't know who thinks of ALL of the crazy stuff that he comes up with, but it's hella funny. Keep it up!!!

His team has been assigned to take down the biggest drug operation in the city. There's only one problem...the head of the operation is his twin brother, Scar Johnson.

Who Asked You? opens as Trinetta leaves her two young sons with her mother, Betty Jean, and promptly disappears. BJ, a trademark McMillan heroine, already has her hands full dealing with her other adult children, two opinionated sisters, an ill husband, and her own postponed dreams - all while holding down a job as a hotel maid. Her son Dexter is about to be paroled from prison; Quentin, the family success, can't be bothered to lend a hand; and taking care of two lively grandsons is the last thing BJ thinks she needs.

Madison Tyler thought a man like Granville Washington could fulfill her sexual desires and her need for occasional male companionship. And as the owner of a multimillion-dollar multimedia firm, that’s as much as Madison wants or needs right now. Granville is desperate to hold on to Madison. The harder she tries to end contact with him, the harder he fights to stay connected to her. He knows she doesn’t love him the way he loves her - she’s repeatedly said so - but if she takes time to get to know the man behind the muscles, he’s convinced she’ll agree that they’re perfect for each other.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I wouldn't have introduced the Mexican drug cartel in and made them more powerful than the Diamond family and their Cartel. It seems silly to name a book the Cartel, have it centered around 1 family, and not have that family emerge on top as more powerful, more wealthy, etc. Carter's character is very captivating and sexy, but to deem him a boss and have him pine throughout the book over a ruthless chick is ridiculous. And to avenge her death is even more ridiculous!!! Loved the transformation of Mecca's character.

If you’ve listened to books by Ashley & JaQuavis before, how does this one compare?

    The Cartel 1 was great.

What three words best describe Cary Hite’s voice?

    monotone, monotone and monotone

Did The Cartel 3: The Last Chapter inspire you to do anything?

    Yes, request a refund.

Would probably refer to a friend

    Any additional comments?

Liked the continuation of the story line, but didn't care much for how the Murda Mamas came to be. I would have preferred the storyline to continue with the Cartel and the Diamond family.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Cartel to be better than the print version?

    Never read the printed version

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the power and strength of the Diamond family. Thought Mecca was a bit over the top, but overall a great listen. Also loved the introduction of Carter into the Diamond family and his story line until the woman that caused him to go soft came along.

What about Cary Hite’s performance did you like?

A bit inconsistent at times to me, but I eventually got used to it. I chuckled to myself at times at his monotone expressions.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Definitely
