Audible, Audible, Audible, if Amazon can tag this as a TEEN novel, why can't you? Maybe I should have investigated more, but would it be that hard? I feel like I wasted a credit.
None of that is the author's fault however. I would have LOVED this book when I was a teen or young adult, so I gave it four stars. I really liked the narrator too.
I would consider buying a book read by Ms. Redfield. I will avoid anything by Suzanne Wright from now on.
There was no real story. Just a weak story strung between crude and vulgar sex scenes. The ending was especially ridiculous.
The narrator was okay. I would probably enjoy her on another book. Her panting and moaning during the sex scenes got a little comical after a while.
The main characters had potential. There just wasn't a story for them.
I have nothing against erotic fiction. I have purchased it on occasion. This was just crudely done.
This was a complete waste of a credit. If I had to hear the name "Dally" one more time I might have trashed my ipod. Don't waste your time.
When I listened to the first book in this series I thought it was predictable and the characters cardboard. I did think they showed potential. This book proved me wrong. They are if, anything, less believable. The women are unflatteringly stereotyped, the villains cartoony. I wasn't impressed with the narrator either, so that didn't help. Off to find a new author try.
Not my favorite narrator, but he does a decent job with this. The main character in this book is a really annoying, self centered and a danger to everyone around her. I liked her less with each chapter. The men were worse. I always have a problem with law enforcement characters who think the laws don't apply to them. Read another book by this author, there are definitely better options
