Life sucks. And, as soon as Sidney picks up the pieces something always knocks her back onto her butt. It's never pretty, but this time is different. This time pretty isn't even the right word. Peter is the personification of perfection. It's like he fell off his angel perch in purgatory, because let's face it - any guy that hot has got to be naughty. He was probably sent here to ruin her life.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Overdramatic narration, has good bones but falls short.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

    Disappointing.

How could the performance have been better?

    Overacted

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    No

    Any additional comments?

Story is basically good I liked the characters, let down by overdramatic narration , cliffhanger ending.

Claire is a 20-something, single mom who grudgingly helps her best friend sell sex toys while she attempts to make enough money to start her own business to give her foul-mouthed, but extremely loveable (when he's asleep) toddler a better life. When Carter, the one-night-stand from her past that changed her life forever, shows up in her hometown bar without any recollection of her besides her unique chocolate scent, Claire will make it a point that he remembers her this time. With Carter's undisguised shock at suddenly finding out he has a four-year-old son and Claire's panic that her stretch marks and slim-to-none bedroom experience will send the man of her dreams heading for the hills, the pair will do whatever they can to get their happily ever after.

Where does Seduction and Snacks rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    Very funny

What other book might you compare Seduction and Snacks to and why?

None, the sarcasm level is over the top, but it works. I always has a lot of sarcasm floating around in my brain but usually keep it inside. It's just unusual to read it.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Over all,the performance is good but I had some trouble understanding which character was which at times. The voice of the male and female lead characters were not different enough for me.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes
