It was broken into 3 parts, and I finished it in less than a week as I found it very interesting. I think they should make it into a TV mini series.

I live in St. Louis so the book is a must read for people living in the Lou, but people from other places will enjoy the book if they have ever drank a beer or wondered what rich people do when they have no morals or common sense.

The stories are told by real people to their loved ones and are quite moving.

Holter Graham's performance was very good as he embodied the enthusiasm and adrenaline that the author experienced on his many missions to the middle east.

Dick Cheney's memoir has similar stories. This book is about someone on the far opposite to Cheney though.

Valerie Jarrett seems to be a puppet master and works closely with Michelle Obama in making key decisions.

Grant Cardone is one of the best motivational speakers I have heard. His books are like pep rallies which fire you up and make you think of new things which can help you reach your goals. I like this book as much as 10X Rule.

I like that anyone can succeed if they put their heart and soul into what they do.

I would listen again as the story Stephanie tells is very fascinating. Unfortunately, her children will pay the price for their father's business choices and his suicide.

The description of Mark Madoff's suicide was chilling.

She seems very honest and her emotions really come through in her story telling.

Despite the complicated jargon, the author really spells out how sub-prime mortgages came into being and why they led to the financial crisis which is still causing the economy to be in turmoil.

The story about the incompetence of the guy who went from being a low level analysis for a ratings company to running a CDO originator who made tens of millions of dollars packaging bad loans. This guy should be in jail!

He does a very good job of delivering the story in a clear and concise manner.

Basically there were just a few people who saw this disaster coming and were able to capitalize on the collapse. Ordinary people who saw the inflated housing prices and easy credit would have found it very difficult to profit from shorting the market. Even funds that had millions in assets found it difficult to purchase the CDS instruments which led to amazing profits for the few who were able to purchase them.

I am now going to purchase the author's 1st book - Liar's Poker - because this one was so good.
