"Great Advice!"
This book helped me so much! Talks about value investing and why, where to invest, etc. Talks about the key things being reinvesting dividends, getting stocks at good prices (low PE, and PEG of less than .5), etc. Makes so much sense and is interesting! Combines Warren Buffet and Peter Lynch with his own research and findings! Loved it!
"Great Stories. Disappointed to Buy Repeats."
I love David Sedaris' work. I was disappointed to discover there were repeats in the book, stories from his other books - books that I've already purchased.
"Psychology and Personal Demons of Swing Traders"
I don't think the title reflects what is in the book. To me it was more of a psychology book. As someone wanting to learn about swing trading, much of it scared me and psyched me out. Oh no, I could me my own worst enemy, etc. blah, blah. But, it does give some good advice to be disciplined, avoid risky trading patterns, etc.
"Doesn't Work For Me"
Compared to "The Future for Investors: Why the Tried and the True Triumph Over the Bold and the New", Fisher's book doesn't work for me at all! Maybe this is just my personal preference. After reading Siegel's book, I felt like I had logical, practical data and research methods to work with on how to invest in stocks. Fisher was too ambiguous for me.
"One of the Best Books I've Found On Writing Comedy"
Practical, like the title says, step-by-step with great examples. Shows you the craft of comedy. Doesn't try to pigeon-hole comedians as people with unhappy childhoods. Just gets to the craft of comedy writing. Entertaining to listen to. Author repeats things a lot, but to me, that just helps the steps sink in better. Helpful exercises too!
"Most of the Information I Already Knew"
Yes, I wish there were more of Robbins' books on Audible.com.
Things I didn't know in the book - about toxic chemicals in common personal and household products, bit about the Spelling family dirty laundry, bit about author's family history and his reaction/path to growing up wealthy with a lavish lifestyle.
Personally, the book disappointed me because I know most of what is in the book. I am dying to read Robbins' earlier books, but, they aren't on Audible, except for the 'Healthy At 100' book which I 100% loved and found to be newly informative. This book had many tips and information I already know. For instance, pigeon holing types of spenders (I find pigeon holing annoying), recommending ways to save money and live greener like carpooling, hand-me downs, spend less, live in a smaller house, etc.
"Informative But I Already Know Most of It"

He's an excellent narrator.
No.

"Great Advice on Nutrition and Life!"
Wow, if this author were a preacher, I'd go to his sermons. Great advice not only about how to eat well, but, how to live well. He talks about successful cultures that live a life of loving each other without competition, materialism, criticism and violence, while experiencing an abundance of health and happiness. Beam me up!
"Good Tips on Nutrition and Toxins to Avoid"
This book has lots of good tips on what to chemicals avoid and what supplements to take. It's a scary world out there! Mercury, aluminum, MSG and fluoride to name a few. It makes me wonder how polluted my brain and body already are! i agree with another reviewer that this book is challenging as an audiobook. Because, it lists a lot of details about supplements to take, and other chemicals to avoid. It would help if Audible.com offered a supplemental download like they do with some other books. Otherwise, you need to write down notes as you listen. And, it's hard to know all of the spellings. I'd also recommend the book, 'Doctor Yourself' by Andrew Saul. It's also more upbeat.
"One of The Most Practical Books on Nutrition..."
This is one of the most practical books on nutrition I've read! It not only gives you natural cures for a lot of common illnesses, it gives you inexpensive ones you can try yourself - orthomolecular nutrition using megavitamins, juicing, diet, etc. to treat depression, cancer, arthritis, receding gums, viruses, etc. And, it was entertaining and informative to listen to with common sense, references to other research (Weston A. Price, etc.), personal experience, etc.
