With nine years of marriage down the drain, Chicago native Nick Stewart leaves the city behind in search of solitude. He heads for his most cherished place in the world to heal and live the rest of his life alone. Little did Nick know that God's plans were different from his own. Sleepy Valley is a small mountain village in the heart of the Tennessee Smoky Mountains that Nick loves.

    Story
What was most disappointing about Tim Callahan???s story?

The story was very dry and not very compelling. It just didn't grab me and interest me. I kept going for awhile but finally had to call it quits. Other than overall quality, one thing that really bothered me was the amount of time spent discussing the female lead's chest. It was given just as much "air time" as some of the characters. It just didn't sit well with me or seem to fit in with a story being billed as Christian. It cheapened the male characters' appeal. It might be better to re-categorize as more mainstream fiction.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I felt this narrator didn't add anything to the story at all. It certainly didn't redeem the content and definately detracted further.
