Detroit artist Meagan Kelly has had a strong sixth sense all her life, but that doesn’t mean the gorgeous stranger’s crazy story—that she’s a half-elf, half human heiress—is true. But Meagan can’t deny the evidence of her own eyes—he’s Fae. A tall, blond, handsome, pointy-eared elf—and a man she just can’t get enough of.

    "Narrator with no talent"
    Overall

A good light story but not the most original, the narrator is horrible with no talent. If you can stand the narrator than the book is a good listen.

At the conclusion of The Mark of Athena, Annabeth and Percy tumble into a pit leading straight to the Underworld. The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy's instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through the Gaea's forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors from both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. But, Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape?

Would you listen to The House of Hades again? Why?

Not if my life depended on it.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Nick Chamian?

Joshua Swanson or Jesse Bernstein or any one but Nick Chamian

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Bob at the doors of death

    Any additional comments?

Horrible narrator and it seemed to me that Rick Riordan tried to hard to give everyone someone to fight or a purpose. The characters are older and wiser but they use the same tricks over and over to defeat the monster, puzzle or problem. Oh yeah Little Bob rocks!
