Because I always learn something & generally this leads me to other interesting information. For example, the TV show Jane went on to star in "Glee," was one I hadn't chosen to watch. Probably because I started watching it somewhere in the middle of the series & by then it didn’t make much sense to me. It was like watching a movie in the middle of it. Anyway I ordered the pilot of Glee & thoroughly enjoyed it.
Jane herself, because I appreciated her honestly & candor & her biography gave me a much deeper understanding of her life & her acting experiences. And it just goes to show people are much more than the covers they wear around themselves like a book. In Janes case her personal life became an acting experience. I began noticing Jane when she played the therapist for 'Charlie,' for the two & a half men series. Being a therapist myself I thought her performance was very beleivable. It wasn't so much what she said but how she said her lines & how she appeared to the audience. She carried herself & her part with a great deal of assured confidence. And dealing with the stars of that show who were (always clowning around) was no easy feat. As an actor watching her act with Charlie Sheen & others was always fun to watch. She seemed to always get behind him & swat him on the back of the head with her lines without him even noticing.
Her book was enlightening & i am sure helpful to others who may be going through similar challenges.
I always adored Carol Burnett. As a comedian she is the best & her foreward was a real tribute to Jane.
Any book could use a follow up if life continues to be ever changing & interesting.
Maybe a decent story that made sense from beginning to end. Characters that blended together better than cottage cheese. A begining & end I could understand. Forget the attempt at a love story ending.....life just doens' t happen like that, Even the attempt at psychic involvement was poor, but what topped off all the worse was the monster with rage character. Man....hang it up..
I do not know but it won't be one by this author
Narrator had nothing to do with bad book
It was believable & interesting
It was very suspenseful & kept me guessing most of the time
She did a fine job in my opinion
Not my expertise
I doubt it
I do not know but it will be one that does not make me sick to my stomach.
I have nothing against the narrator
I would cut the story so that there is no book
Nope, that will do it!
Way too much explilcit sexual exlanations as book goes on. Should have been called a romance novel..
Not start out leading sudience to think one way & then switch it around. Most of the main characters fell into this trap. first your a bad guy, then your not. First you are a plain Jane & then your not.
Up, down & sideways
Yes I find this series entertaining. informative & funny. And I think I can read a lot of myself in Abby Cooper on both the physical & spiritual level.
Yes & I can say the same for most of all the books I have continued to read.
The Tarot card reading scene at the wedding.
I do not know.
I did not like how Abby kept the gloomy forecast going all through the book only to be wrong about it. Frankly it was a drag down for one of her books.
THe story line for sure
maybe getting happier would have helped but all I heard was her falling down, getting her boyfriend upset & her hips colllapsing on her.
The way the people involved finally started to work together, & i do mean together
THe killer villlain at the end
THis book suprised me & educated me at the same time. You never know what some people will do when they are pushed to the brink
Mystery, mystery. mystery right up to the end. Can't beat a book like that!
Yepper....refer to above
She is very good & sometimes she reminds me of me
Yes, i thought it was interesting to write about North Korea. I know they are anxiously wanting the world to notice them & finding out more about this country is facinating. It certainly gives me a better perspective on their beliefs & values even if they are way off the charts.
The end where the woman makes a major change to her behavior for the benefit of others & the child.
I think both the lead characters were matched up well. Therefore I could not make such a choice.
When the young Korean orphan was being cleaned up & tended to after leaving the prison camp.
I did enjoy this book very much
Although I have no intention of reading the print version, I would say yes.
It was the most mesmerizing mystery book I think I have ever heard. At least once I overlooked the major error it contained.
They were all competing for the honor of my favorite & added to the mysterious plot I didn't even come close to figuring out even right up to the end. The book held my attention through out & I was sitting on the edge of my bed. Actually, I fell off a few times. But I got right back up & on.
Way to go Childs & McClain. And I promise not to tell anyone the only mistake which was a real blooper was that no one can be hypnotized to do anything they do not want to do. Like taking all their clothes off or blank, blank, blank that would definately & purposely end thier life. So as a certified Hynotherapist, I will over look this mistake just becasue the story line was so great & of course it was fiction. But it sure didn't help hynosis as a therapy tool. Shame on you Child.
