"Fifty Shades Freed"
After book two I really didn't know where this story could go and I have to say I really didn't expect where this book took me. However once again the interaction between Christian and Anastasia was excellent. The kidnapping scene was resolved a little easily for me however once again an excellent read.
Again Becca Battoe handled the performance very well and made it easy to listen too.
Overall and excellent series of books that I will continue to enjoy listening too in the years to come.
"Fifty Shades Darker"
After finding the first book a little amateurish, I still couldn't wait to get this book. And let me say this book is my favourite of the three. It really lets you see the interaction between the characters. It shows you how a strong relationship can form and can save someone who has had a very bad past.
I love the interaction between Christian and Anastasia via the email. It is humorous and I think a good reflection of what and how some real life romances are carried out these days.
Becca Battoe again did a great job of conveying the emotion and drama of the relationship and I have to say handled some of the hotter scenes very well.
I will be listening to these books again and again and after all that is what you want in a book.
"Fifty Shades of Grey"
At first I found this book to be a bit amateurish. The writing sounded like it had been done by a young teenager. However the story soon got me involved. The interaction between the characters was funny and sometimes a little raunchy, but that isn't really what makes you want to keep reading. I don't know what it is about these books but you really don't want to put them down and then when the story is over you feel bereft. Like you have lost your best friends.
Excellent overall read, and the lady that reads them is very good. You feel the difference between the characters.
These will be books I will continue to listen to over and over again.
