Yes. I love all the Argeneau novels and this last one doesn't disappoint.
For it's paranormal querkiness and humor I would compare it to Jeanine Frost's "Bones and Cat Series" (The Grave...) You love all the characters and how you are drawn into all the various plots and the subtle humor is a delight.
Oh I cannot pin one down as I always love the Argeneau family interaction and there were many in this one.
When Christian tells Christiana his history and true sexual nature, then demonstrates...phew!
I highly reccomend the entire Argeneau Series by Lynsay Sands. There are various narrators but they all are wonderful to listen too.
In audio version with Mr. Sarkus narrating, awful. I couldn't listen beyond the first chapter. I did enjoy reading the Kindle version.
High pitched, whiney voice which doesn't fit the Carpathian males at all!
Grudgingly because I love this story but don't like the narrator
That's a tough choice to make. If you like paranormal romance such as the Black Dagger Brotherhood series it would be a good comparison. There's grit, angst, humor and hot n steamy romance
I really didn't like her portrayal of the Sem Brothers (Eidolon, Shade n Wraith) who sound like prepubescent boys, Runa whose Bronx accent doesn't fit her character and Ares whose given some bizarre accent. It's very distracting and disappointing as I truly like these characters from her books in the Demonica series.
The last few scenes with Reaver and Harvester escaping from Sheol. The emotional bonds formed as they face off against past hurts, choose forgiveness and follow the path of love which helps them face dire conflicts ahead.
If you haven't purchased this audio version, I would simply read it, the story is very good and was worth the wait. I look forward to the next book in the series: Revenant, my only hope is Helen Wick WILL NOT be its narrator.
Erotic paranormal fantasy
Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series book one: Angel's Blood. The three word summation for Dark Lover also applies.
The BDB series is the first time I had heard Mr. Frangione's narration. He is fantastic for this series and a great talent.
Beth's Troubled Warrior, but Dark Lover is so much better.
I had never listened to nor read any paranormal fantasy books until Dark Lover. I became instantly enthralled and have purchased all the books in the series through Audible. Now I'm a paranormal fan of authors such as Nalini Singh, Christine Feehan, Jeanine Frost, Lynsay Sands, and Katie MacAllister.
Yes. Readers/listeners need to schew their perspectives on the afterlife and the battle strategies between angels n demons. JRWard puts an interesting twist in the Fallen Angel series. Jim Heron and his duo kick-ass angel buddies bring a lot of color into this story. Without giving away the plot, I will only say if you've enjoyed Ward's BDB series, this one won't disappoint. Ward even weaves in characters from her BDB into this one. Since this series also revolves around Caldwell, NY, it makes sense. 5 stars for another entertaining series.
When Jim took the bullet meant for the hero n heroine.
No. But I like his voice n style
No extreme reaction. Just amused by the author's take on the heavenly/hell warfare tactics
To have the unabridged recording of this story. The Amelia Peabody Series should never be abridged!! Please audible, release the unabridged version!
The entire Peabody/Emerson family. I cannot choose only one.
Everything. Ms. Rosenblat's talent makes each book in the series a delight. EXCEPT the abridged versions, which really aren't a reflection on her abilities, but even her talented narration cannot mask the disappointment in the abridged version.
NONE. Please release an unabridged version of this book. Hey Audible, catch on to my recurring theme?
I hope more audible listeners will also request this series to be released in its entirity unabridged. Thank you
Captivating, thrilling, and adventurous
It's difficult to pick only one,but I'll choose the protaganist Hadrian Blackwater, 95% of the time he found the silver lining and he was a hero to the end.
No, this was my first listen and I really enjoy his writing talent.
Definitely, but too many hours to pull off that goal.
Thank you Tim Gerard Reynolds, I hope you will permit Audible to release your final book of the trilogy: HEIR OF NOVRON. I downloaded it to my Kindle, but I look forward to the audio version. The narrator does a teriffic job.
