    Yes, it was fast-paced and kept adding twists and turns to keep things moving and kept my interest throughout.

    His pace, accent and presentation make the book come alive.

    Tragic historical account.

    Several books written about the Holocaust come to mind...


    Which scene was your favorite?

    I wouldn't say "favorite" is the right word; possibly, moving or blatently honest would be more correct. There were too many scenes of that caliber, but I might say the scene in Siberia where the Russian officer comes to their aid, is one of them.

    The story wandered about so much and was not cogently assembled that I found it irritating to listen to...the narrator didn't help much either.


    What was most disappointing about Joshua Corin’s story?

    Lack of cohesiveness and strong characters.

    If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from While Galileo Preys?

    No particular scene stands out -- one reason I supposed I disliked it!

    What made the experience of listening to Deep Storm the most enjoyable?

    Scott Brick's presentation of this well-written, fast-moving book is terrific, as usual! The book was so well written that my interest never lagged and the story was very explicit in so many details that it seemed very plausible.


    What was one of the most memorable moments of Deep Storm?

    The ending, where the heros of the book come to realize the actual meaning of the buried "treasure."


    What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    With Mr. Brick's reading, I am able to sit back and let the events wash over me and just listen as if I were on site, experiencing the whole thing.


    Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Only insofar as encouraging the realization that we probably aren't alone in the universe!

    I was, once again, pleased that I had chosen a book read by Mr. Brick; he is excellent!

    Still listening -- very long book, but the main narrator, Scott Brick, is excellent and makes the length bearable!

    Voice inflection and ability to make it through a book of this length because I can listen in my car or while doing chores!

    I was disappointed when I was listening to one of the parts narrated by Abby Craden, to find out that "parts were missing or unintelligible" (part of the novel - not actually missing, but at first I wasn't sure!)...felt like I was cheated out of that part of the book.

    Well spent only in that we were driving on a long trip and had nothing else to listen to.

    I would partially recommend it...definitely not his best work.
