Yes, I have listened to every book in the VR series more than once.
Bringing Nora and Tom back from minor mention in an earlier book and giving them character and substance. In both cases, the story was neither contrived nor a "fairy tale".
Ms. Plummer is an exceptionally talent performer. I have listened to books she has performed for other authors. Her projection of a character goes way beyond the voice she develops. She has been consistently outstanding.
Amatuerish and monotone.
I am impatient with filler material. I don't know if there is some minimum goal of words/pages for a novel, but this book had so many useless details, ie. she got out of the shower, grabbed a towel, looked in the mirror, dried herself, hung the towel on the rod, walked to the closet, etc., that I wanted to seriously edit the thing!
