One morning in picture-perfect Bath, England, a teenage girl's body is found on the towpath of a canal: Lorne Woods - beautiful, popular, and apparently the victim of a disturbingly brutal murder. Zoe Benedict - Harley-riding police detective, independent to a fault - is convinced the department head needs to look beyond the usual domestic motives to solve the case.

Would you consider the audio edition of Hanging Hill to be better than the print version?

I've only listened to the audio version and really enjoyed the narrator's performance.

Would you recommend Hanging Hill to your friends? Why or why not?

Overall, it was an intriguing story so I would recommend it, but I'd let my friends know how much the characters weighed on my nerves. I just couldn't seem to find anyone to root for.

Which character – as performed by Rosalyn Landor – was your favorite?

I enjoyed her performance of David Goldrab.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Suspense at every turn and all roads lead to Hanging Hill...

    Any additional comments?

Hope the author's working on a sequel. So many questions left unanswered...

Jeff Stetson has received eight NAACP Theater Image Awards for his play The Meeting, which aired on American Playhouse on PBS. He offers a thought-provoking work of fiction with Blood on the Leaves. Old white men - alleged perpetrators of racial killings during the civil rights struggle - are being brutally murdered in the South. Now it's up to the only black deputy district attorney to prosecute these racially motivated crimes.

Would you listen to Blood on the Leaves again? Why?

Yes, I enjoyed so many of the characters and would love to listen again to see if I can pull out clues that I overlooked during the first listen. I found the writing to be very rich, outstanding dialogue

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blood on the Leaves?

Gosh...so many, I suppose when Reynolds returned home and asked his mother to fill in the blanks about the incident that took place when he was a kid- that whole portion was very memorable.

    Which scene was your favorite?

All of the courtroom scenes. Loved the judge!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I enjoyed the testimony scene from Dr. Matheson's mother.

    Any additional comments?

Could definitely see this as a feature film!

What if—whoosh, right now, with no explanation—a number of us simply vanished? Would some of us collapse? Would others of us go on, one foot in front of the other, as we did before the world turned upside down? That’s what the bewildered citizens of Mapleton, who lost many of their neighbors, friends and lovers in the event known as the Sudden Departure, have to figure out. Because nothing has been the same since it happened—not marriages, not friendships, not even the relationships between parents and children.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would based on the author's exquisite talent. Also, the premise was just so unique to me, so I'd love to know what a friend thinks of it.

Do you think The Leftovers needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes! I would love for more time to be spent on the actual event that gets the story rolling. For something so monumental, I felt it was just pushed too far aside.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Didn't feel my time was well spent. After listening to and thoroughly enjoying the other books in the series, I was very excited to start this story. I found myself irritated by the characters, unable to root for any of them.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

It pains me to say that I was thrilled when it was over.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The characters often sounded too much alike...

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    Not sure...

    Any additional comments?

"The Upper Room" and "Mama Ruby" were really fantastic stories- this one just didn't grip me the way they did. But I will continue to read work by this talented author!

Would you listen to Moon again? Why?

No, Moon and Joy just didn't have any real time to connect in my opinion. I got more insight into the relationship with his best friend Harley.

Would you recommend Moon to your friends? Why or why not?

I'd probably suggest they start with another title in the series. Fury, Valiant, Justice, Tiger one of the stronger titles before they get into this one...

What does Vanessa Chambers bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I just love the way she gives the characters their own personalities- if it's a recurring character, you know who it is before the name's even said. I also love the emotion she brings in when she's reading, if someone's laughing you hear that! She really makes it entertaining.

I would definitely recommend the audiobook format- the narrator really brings the characters and the story alive with her performance!

What did you like best about this story?

Everything! I just stumbled upon this series while browsing for something interesting to listen to and took a chance on Book One: Fury. I was hooked!!! So creative! So vivid! Love It! Now I'm waiting anxiously on Moon's story (Book 10)

Which character – as performed by Vanessa Chambers – was your favorite?

Gosh...that's tough...I have enjoyed all her narrations and I don't give out that sort of compliment often. Hard to choose...I'd say it's between Justice, Tiger and Breeze!

Would you consider the audio edition of Reaver to be better than the print version?

I've read half this series in print and listened to half. I think I prefer the print versions. When the narrator's performance of a character's voice seems so far off the mark (ex. Eidolon) it really takes me out of the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Especially loved the scene when Harvester & Reaver returned Limos' and Eric's baby.

Fantastic start to the next part of this gripping series. Can't wait for more!

On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

Where does Under the Dome rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Under the Dome would definitely rank among the top titles I've listened to so far. I actually enjoyed the narrator as I don't expect much in the way of men perfecting female voice or vice versa so that wasn't an issue for me. It took me a second to grab some of the slang, but only a second. This made for enjoyable listening along many drives to work.

What did you like best about this story?

The structure of the chapters gave the story a faster pace. The way the story was sectioned into these sub-chapters gave the book a cliff-hanger feel throughout, making it very difficult to find a stopping point when I listened. A good thing.

What does Raul Esparza bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

As I stated before, I thought Raul Esparza did a great job with this story given that there were so MANY characters. I love novels with an abundance of role players but feel I may have gotten lost a time or two were it not for the voice presentation. Also, the characters voices remained consistent throughout the book.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I would have liked to have seen the 'bad guys' receive more of a payback for all the evil they did in this story. There were tons of evil doers in this town and in my opinion none of them really paid properly for all their wrong doing. I laughed in many places, rolled my eyes on more than a few occasions. I was really hoping that there would have been a better (or more creative) explanation for the dome than what was given. Still the suspense of it really kept me turning pages- er listening avidly. Utterly entertaining!

    Any additional comments?

Overall an amazing accomplishment. For such a lengthy work, I believe that listening to the audio version made all the difference in how greatly I enjoyed it.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

The book was outstanding!! I have thoroughly enjoyed this series from the plot to the characters- Ione has weaved a phenomenal tale. I only wish I had read this last book instead of listening to it. I have to agree with the other reviewers this time. The narrator made my listening experience a real trial. I had to really push myself to continue listening. The narrator’s inappropriate emphasis on words was a true distraction. I didn’t expect the male voices to be on point either and thankfully I had my own ideas/versions of the character’s voices in my head to let the reading ruin too much of it for me.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Sin Undone?

When Sin confided in Con about all she'd been through. How she'd been owned most of her life and her story of what that was like.

Would you be willing to try another one of Ava Camille Edwards’s performances?

    Sorry but I would not.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

I'd definitely love to see this as a movie- but where would they find such awesome guys??

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Highly Recommend! After reading all the negative reviews regarding the narration, I debated about downloading this book but I’m so eager to get through this series so that I can get back to the Lords of Deliverance (which is where I started the saga with Eternal Rider) so I took a chance. I cringed a little at first, due to what I’d already read about the narrator, but then I was absolutely entertained from then on. I found the narration quite good, made me laugh in lots of places but it was sooo great to hear the male characters as MALES and not females doing that god-awful gravely thing to make themselves sound like a man. The plot was terrific as always and I have to say that so far Lore and Idess are my favorite couple next to Eidolon and Tayla. Great work and so very addictive.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lore. I enjoy it when the author explores the motivations of the hero and Ione does a fantastic job here. Lore is so very complex, his situation so menacing you can't help but wonder how he could ever make a relationship work with any woman. She really does a great job of presenting him and making the reader understand him.

    Which scene was your favorite?

All the scenes between the brothers, but I can't decide if it's the scene with Lore holding his little nephew Raid after they rescued him or the scene when Shade meets Sin for the first time.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Idess had to leave. She didn't want to and Ione really made you feel how much she didn't want to, but Idess lived up to what was expected of her and you had to admire and respect her for that.

    Any additional comments?

Great work! Loved the narrator! Moving on to Sin Undone!
