This was a thoroughly enjoyable series of lectures on Bronze Age Greece. If you find yourself interested in this period of history you'll find this absolutely fascinating. I loved this book and would buy again.

This book was hilarious.It also had twists and turns and all around a good book

There's a fine line between art and pornography this book definitely crossed it. The plot in this book was a thin excuse for the actions of its characters. In many places it insults the intelligence of the reader. I wouldn't buy this book again. Indeed I regret listening to it the first time.

A quick overview of Roman history this series of lectures was absolutely fascinating. The professor did a wonderful job of presenting the material in an informative and humorous manner. I've listened to it several times since its purchase and would buy it all over again.

I enjoyed this series of lectures even if biblical scholarship is not one of my main interests. It helps if you have a little Old Testament understanding when listening to these lectures. This book was worth the money but I'm not sure I would buy it twice.

This series of lectures is extremely informative and enjoyable. A detailed overview of Greek history it is a very good introduction to the ancient Greeks. If you already have a working knowledge of Greek history it's a pretty good review if you don't it's an even better place to start. Well worth the time and money. I'd buy it again.

After her last book I was afraid this author was written out that the well was dry. How glad I was to find out that I was wrong. This book has all the depth and power of her early work and was well worth the money and time the reader will invest. I buy this book again.

After too long of an absence Elizabeth peters returns us to the world of everyone's favorite art historian Dr. Bliss. If you enjoyed her earlier books you will love this one. It is full of all the stock characters we've come to know and love. Elizabeth brings us breakneck adventure and intrigue without insulting our intelligence. I can recommend without any hesitation that others buy this book.

This book was awful with occasional flashes of adequacy. The story seemed forced,the dialogue was flat, and the characters were barely believable. I won't buy another book by this author.
