Yes. Johanna Parker is an amazing narrator, she has brought such a distinctive life to each character, I don't think Diantha would have been half as enjoyable if I had read it!!
Continuity. This series is about Sookie's life and her growth and choices. She always wanted to have a normal life with a happy home and children, that is made very evident throughout the series. She thinks she is denied this due to her being a telepath. Sookie consistently tried to make every guy fit into her ideal life in her head. She was very lonely and didn't trust guys with minds she could hear so vampires seemed a safe choice. She finally learned to trust herself and in the end find true love, someone who would compliment her and fit into her vision of a happy home.
Everything! She has the ability to give life to characters much like Jim Dale, love her!!
Loved the fact that Pam and Karen will stay part of Sookie's life, great scene with them.
I loved this book and will happily listen to the whole series again!!
Yes, it's funny, sad and heartwarming and you can't say that about too many Zombie stories!
The Sookie Stackhouse series, simply because of the heroine's point of view, I found that and the southern accent very similar.
