Wonderful Version. The produnciation of the russian names was first rate. Character voices were well chosen.
I didn't realize when I purchased this audio book that it was presented as an "interview" with Meister Eckhart. But it was so seamlessly done, using Eckhart's actually words that it proved very effective. The questions helped clarify the normal questions one would have an repeating basic questions in different ways help very much.
The only very minor complaint is the "birdsong" chirping in the background. I assume it was added in the studio but either way I think it's fine in the beginning but proved a minor distraction. Very minor. Highly recommend this audio book.
Martin Jarvis is a wonder. His narration is flawless and his particular character voices are so endearing and appropriate that I wonder if he makes the text even greater than it is, at it is great.
To me this is the perfect book. A classic that never dulls with age. I think I will listen or read this book once a year. It is truly perfect from beginning to end. Truly a miracle of a book. This narration too is pitch perfect. I am filled with gratitude for this book and this narration.
John Lee is magnificent. I can't say enough about him. And this story is timeless and brilliant.
Great Narration. Not my favorite Hardy work but still worth a listen. Story a bit too contrived.
Nadia May is remarkable. I have listened to her before and, in part, choose this because of her.
