Spenser earned his degree in the school of hard knocks, so he is ready when a Boston university hires him to recover a rare, stolen manuscript. He is hardly surprised that his only clue is a radical student with four bullets in his chest. The cops are ready to throw the book at the pretty blond coed whose prints are all over the murder weapon but Spenser knows there are no easy answers. He tackles some very heavy homework and knows that if he doesn't finish his assignment soon, he could end up dead.

The anchor of The O'Reilly Factor recounts one of the most dramatic stories in American history—how one gunshot changed the country forever. In the spring of 1865, the bloody saga of America's Civil War finally comes to an end after a series of increasingly harrowing battles. President Abraham Lincoln's generous terms for Robert E. Lee's surrender are devised to fulfill Lincoln's dream of healing a divided nation. But one man and his band of murderous accomplices are not appeased....

"Revealed! The inside story on Lincoln."

Would you listen to Killing Lincoln again? Why?

Yes. There are a number of little known, or never discussed, details that are fascinating.

What other book might you compare Killing Lincoln to and why?

    Killing Kennedy

What does Bill O'Reilly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His dramatic method of reading the text is generally good.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Inside the Lincoln Assassination

    Any additional comments?

While Bill O'Reilly's reading of his book is generally entertaining, two things are rather jarring -- (1) he continually mispronounces the word "cavalry" as calvary, and (2) he should know better than to say "each and every", a well known redundancy.
