"Second Trumps the First!"
This second volume is far more engaging than the first. Not to say that the first was lame, far from it, but there's nothing like a little micro-eco perspective to debunk so much of the media's hype on various issues.
"Evolution scapes none..."
The most astonishing thing about this book, apart from a meticulous attention to facts and strong, diverse sources is that the concept most rejected by religions, particularly the Abrahamic religions, evolution, is the very force that continues to shape and drive it. This is not a book for the dogmatic defenders of long established and often debunked notions of biblical accounts, historical events or even the notion of God as we have come to know it in the cumulative, western societies. Yet, if you’re open to a survey of civilization’s religious evolution, this is the book for you!
"How many reasons?"
Enlightening and rich in details, the books only down-fall is that it seems to be written more for a female rather than a male audience. This is fine since us guys can extrapolate so much for the betterment of our relationships and answer the “What Do Women Want” riddle once and for all!
"Lost me!"
Sporadic and tedious, this book is unnecessary long and even some of its interpretations are questionable. I expected more facts, figures, statistics, you know, science!
"Evolve or perish!"
The new face of marketing and promoting self and business could not have been made clearer. Thank you Gary.
"So that's why!"
I wish this book would have been available to me in my early twenties. Not because I selected the wrong mate (I didn't), but because it would have made self-discovery simpler.
