I had no idea what to expect with this book, being unfamiliar with Jenny's blog.....OMG, it is hysterical! Finished it in one afternoon --- I just couldn't stop listening! Three more people bought this book after I played the Ex-Lax chapter for them. Jenny Lawson is funny, crude, tender, loving and human. She has issues (and who doesn't), but she has an amazing gift for putting her life's experiences into words that anyone can relate to. If you have a crazy family that you love, then you will love this book!!

Didn't expect much of this impulsive purchase, but ended up loving the book and the narrator. Sorry Mr. Schirner, but at first your voice irritated me, then by chapter 3, I fell in love with the way you intoned all the characters. I let myself be enjoyably tossed around by the author, not trying to figure out the conclusion, and I loved all the twists and turns and unexpected revelations. Fun stuff for those of us who love government conspiracy theories.

Their story of tragedy, struggle and triumph is truly inspiring. To hear Gabby read the last chapter of the book absolutely made me cry with heartfelt joy for her and her family. Go Gabby and Mark!

Narrator does not have passion or understanding of the subject matter. Dr. Kaku's voice would bring both!
