Great story - very creative and unique. Nitpick: I thought that the author could have done a better job of explaining the nature of the forces which led to the problem, rather than make up a word to characterize it.
Have to say that narrator's fairly heavy Scottish (?) accent detracted from the smooth reading flow - I ended up buying the Kindle book to finish off the story. But I enjoyed the tremendous work involved in creating a different world, subject to different physical laws, in an entertaining story.
If Audible did not list the name of the narrator, I would swear that they slipped a text-to-speech program in on us. Audible should fire Larry McKeever immediately and send a replacement book to anyone who bought it. I don't expect (but would definitely prefer) Scott Brick, but 99.9% of the current readers could do a better job than McKeever. Honestly - doesn't Audible have any quality controls?
I haven't quite gotten the stomach to listen past the first couple of chapters.
If it had been narrated by a person who had a minimum of eye to mouth coordination and could place the em-pha'-sis on the correct syl-la'-ble.
Don't know yet.
Just re-publish this book with a quality narrator.
