I thank you Julie for giving the "The Immortal Rules," book a beginning! Dawn of Eden answered all my questions that were not answered in book first book. I really enjoyed reading it, oops, listening to it. It could have been a litttttle bit longer, :-)

Can't wait for the 4th to come out.

In The Witch with No Name, Kim Harrison brings back her wildly popular heroine for one final, epic battle. Rachel Morgan's come a long way from the klutzy runner fleeing a bad job. She's faced vampires and werewolves, banshees, witches, and soul-eating demons. She's crossed worlds, channeled gods, and accepted her place as a day-walking demon. Eve Hardaway, newly single mother of one, is on a trip she’s long dreamed of - a rafting and hiking tour through the jungles and mountains of Oaxaca, in southern Mexico. Eve wanders off the trail, to a house in the distance with a menacing man in the yard beyond it, throwing machetes at a human-shaped target. Disturbed by the sight, Eve moves quickly and quietly back to her group, taking care to avoid being seen. As she creeps along, she finds a broken digital camera, marked with the name Teresa Hamilton.

Too political in nature. I went to sleep and just when I thought the book was going somewhere, it became unbelievable. I know in the face of danger we develop the “fight or flight,” predisposition and some of us develop incredible strength however, the main character becomes one with her starker and outsmart and outmaneuver him and eventually survive in the end. I know it’s a book, but really!!!

What made the experience of listening to Steelheart the most enjoyable?

I was unable to figure out the plot> I didn’t know what direction the book was going in so I didn't put it down! lol

What other book might you compare Steelheart to and why?

    You're Next!! It's a thriller, I couldn't put it down either.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Megan was replaying the scene when David was confessing his love for her.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I wouldn't say moved me, however finding out that others in the group had powers.

    Any additional comments?

Great first book! I love MacCleod Andrews voice. He's great; he gives all of the characters distinction and a life of their own. No confusion trying to figure out who's talking.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Survivor to be better than the print version?

This was a last minute purchase, so I have not read the book.

What other book might you compare The Survivor to and why?

I would compare it to You're Next. You never know why the character is going through the terror and why these people are after him until the end. And nor does he. That's the part the keeps you listening or reading, trying to figure out what's next and why.

Have you listened to any of Scott Brick’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I love his action pack voice. He narrates this book as well.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yessssssssssss! You're Next as well.

    Any additional comments?

Can't wait for the next book from Gregg Hurwitz! Thanks
