    Good book, well written. However, in the end, it is very predictable and much like every other "killer virus" sci-fi thriller.

    Clare and Henry have known each other since Clare was six and Henry was 36. They were married when Clare was 23 and Henry was 31. Impossible but true, because Henry is one of the first people diagnosed with Chrono-Displacement Disorder: periodically his genetic clock resets and he finds himself misplaced in time, pulled to moments of emotional gravity from his life, past and future. His disappearances are spontaneous, his experiences unpredictable, alternately harrowing and amusing.

    I was about half-way through this book and I thought to myself, "I think I know how it ends". Usually, that kills a book for me, but for this one it didn't matter. I was still riveted to it. It's not even the hard-core Sci-Fi/Fantasy I normally like, but it is GREAT. I feel like I grew up with the characters. I didn't want it to end. As far as figuring out the ending early...maybe you'll be right, maybe not. More importantly, you won't care. It is definitely a talent to write a book with an intertwined timeline. The author pulls it off brilliantly.
