You can deepen your perspectives, knowledge, and insight through exposure to some of the world's most compelling thinkers. The growth of human freedom, and with it science, culture, and capitalistic prosperity, are explained through the works and ideas of some of our civilization's most brilliant thinkers.

The Cato University home study course is a sure way to learn the basics about libertarian ideas as they developed throughout history. It is a good start for novice or beginner libertarian and a great review for this radical anarcho-capitalist. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about liberty and have a better grasp on the subject matter. The narration was well done but the quotes read by the voice actor in the accent of said thinkers was not that necessary. I get it Bastiat was a French and Mises was Austrian but do I really need to hear their quotes in accents of English speakers from said countries? Other than that this is a great resource for students of liberty.

Grounded in scholarship and bold in its aims, Western Muslims and the Future of Islam offers a striking vision of a new Muslim Identity, one which rejects once and for all the idea that Islam must be defined in opposition to the West.

This book contains the quintessential meaning of what it means to be Muslim in a pluralistic society. Ramadan sticks to the principles of Islam while engendering a mutual respect for the other in Western society. it is his life's work and his thesis that Muslims in the West need not ostracizing cells from normal societal practices, cultural norms, and mores but rather embrace the principles of Islam while maintaining our Western identities. A must read for any Muslim born and raised in Europe the US or Canada.
